Vancouver’s ANCIIENTS Roadburn Festival 2014 set is streaming here. The band’s Roadburn performance was their first-ever European show, and kicked off their 2014 tour with ASG.

ANCIIENTS have also announced a U.S. appearance as part of next year’s Psycho California Festival. Now in its third year, the Psycho California Festival (formerly Psycho de Mayo) encompasses 54 bands across two stages, live art collaborations and more. The 2015 edition runs March 15-17, and sees ANCIIENTS perform alongside RUSSIAN CIRCLES, PALLBEARER, label-mates KYLESA, OM, ORANGE GOBLIN, CAVE IN, and many more. Footage of ANCIIENTS drummer Mike Hannay performing the track “Faith and Oath” has surfaced here. The footage was taken during the critically-acclaimed band’s show as part of CBC Radio’s ” The Toque Sessions”. “The Toque Sessions” are a series of Mid-winter concerts at the CBC studios in downtown Vancouver. All shows as part of the Toque Sessions are free, and showcase music from national talent in the genres of Rock, blues, country, classical, electronic and  more.

ANCIIENTS recently finished the tour cycle for their debut album, ‘Heart of Oak’, and are deep in the process of writing material for their new album. The as-yet untitled album will be released in late 2015 by Season of Mist.
