Australian progressive metal standouts NE OBLIVISCARIS have announced a range of 2015 festival dates. In addition to their previously announced Soundwave Festival inclusion, the band have added numerous European Festival performances including Hellfest (France), Tuska Open Air (Finland), Summer Breeze (Germany), Resurrection Fest (Spain), and more. NE OBLIVISCARIS is streaming a guitar solo video with ESP Guitars here. The video showcases guitarist Benjamin Baret playing the lead solo off of “Movement II: Cynosure” (part of the larger composition, “Painters of the Tempest Pt. II – Triptych Lux”).

“Painters of the Tempest Pt. II – Triptych Lux” is taken from the NE OBLIVISCARIS new album, ‘Citadel’, on Season Of Mist. The album, which has been called “a game changer” (Sputnik Music), and complex, mind-bending metal” (Decibel Magazine) is streaming here.

NE OBLIVISCARIS have seen ‘Citadel’ debut at #42 on Australia’s top 50 charts and #12 on the Australian Artist Album Chart category. The ARIA (Australian recording industry association) chart, Australia’s equivalent of North America’s Billboard, sees the band positioned alongside international recording artists ranging from the FOO FIGHTERS to SLIPKNOT, TAYLOR SWIFT, KATY PERRY, and more.

NE OBLIVISCARIS have also released footage taken from their recent headlining tour in Australia here. Footage of the tour comes from the band’s recent shows in Launceston, Melbourne, and Adelaide.
