Since January 4th, German heavy metallers POWERWOLF have entrenched themselves in the studio to record their upcoming, 6th album, which is expected to be released in summer 2015, via Napalm Records.

Roel van Helden is currently outdoing himself tracking drums with amazing energy. The drums sound alive and big in the newbulit recording room at Kohlekeller Studio, and already now with only guide tracks and drums it all sounds amazing. We’ll probably spend the rest of the week celebrating our dutch drum-demon while he keeps beating the hell out of his drumset. Next up will be guitar recordings, starting probably by the end of the week. We’ll keep you posted.
