CARTHAGODS is one of the first metal bands to emerge from Tunisia in the 1990’s. The band has signed a worldwide record contract with a German label Hands of Blue to release their first album. CARTHAGODS has recently revealed more details on their self titled album, which will be released in February.
According to the band, “Carthagods” album is a kind of “best of” for what CARTHAGODS produced during the last years. The album will include 8 tracks plus an intro and it was produced by Marcel Coenen ( Sun Caged / Stormbrider ). The album features guest stars such as Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (Guns N’Roses), Mark Jansen (Epica), Tim “Ripper” Owens, Zuberoa Aznarez (Diabulus in Musica ) and Hans T’ Zandt (Mad Max ). The artwork was created by Niklas Sundin (Dark Tranquillity).
