
Finland’s LankaFest has announced the new edition, which will take place on July 10-11th 2015 in Puolanka market square, organized by Puolanka City.
Announced Bands in festival are, so far:
Ukkohalla-Paljakka – Stage (Stage 1):
Battle Beast, Lost Society, Kotipelto & Liimatainen, Burning Point, Mad Hatter’s Den, enkElination (UK), Constantine, Blind Channel, Electric Deathbeat , Poison Black.
OP -Stage (Stage 2):
Murkina Houseband, LankaFest HouseBand ja Stand Up Show Lasse Oikarinen

Area: Festival area is enclosed space. In the are there is K-18 alcohol serving area. Festival is non ageless festival so you can come there with whole family. In the festival area there is lots of differend place of sales where you can buy differend kind of merchandises of Lankafest or for all of the bands which are playing in Lankafest 2015. There is also a place where you can buy food in festival area and there is also many differend shops and restaurants just a corner of a festival area.

LankaFesti history starts at the year of 2010 when first festival start up with a four local bands. The success was so good that 2011 the festival was organised in the middle of puolanka with 8 bands as a one day festival. In the summer 2012 Lankafest was moved in the market square area where was a Pohjanportti stage. Main headliner in that year was a legendary Zero nine. In the year 2013 festival develop very much and there was much more crowd than other years. Main headliner in 2013 was Peer Gunt. In July 2014 Lankafest was first time a 2-day festival with 11 bands including Brother Firetribe, Battle Beast, Waltari and italian Tommy Vitaly. And the festival crowd continue growing.
Next summer Lankafest will be organized 6th time in Puolanka city. The newest reform is 2 stages. So the Lankafest try to offer all kinds of show all the time during the festival and the Lankafest 2015 continues as a heavymetal spirit festival.
