PAPA ROACH‘s eighth album “F.E.A.R” entered the UK charts at No 13 last month, the band’s highest chart placement since 2002. Following a storming appearance at the Reading and Leeds festivals in 2014, the band kicked off their first UK headline tour for 2 years last night in Norwich.
Now they are set to release a new single ‘Falling Apart’ via Eleven Seven Records on April 27th, Radio 1’s Daniel P. Carter’s exclusive album track, which explodes into an anthemic arena-ready refrain.
Bassist Tobin Esperance says of ‘Falling Apart’, “It’s about trying to find something to hold on to that can keep you strong, propel you forward, and be that light in your life.”
Exploring new musical territory is nothing new for the Californian band (rounded out by singer Jacoby Shaddix, guitarist Jerry Horton and drummer Tony Palermo), who over the course of two decades have released an impressively diverse string of Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum records, starting with 2000’s Infest (featuring their breakout single ‘Last Resort’). “INFEST is straight fire one-hundred percent,” declares Jacoby Shaddix “That’s when I realized the purpose of my life playing music. Infest was the opening statement. It’s the intro of who we were to become. It was just the top of the iceberg. That record is just as brutally honest and real as anything I’ve written to this day.”
