Following a steady period of complete recluse, Canada’s VESPERIA have burst forth through the gates of sequestration and have begun to fans the embers that will surely become their own inferno.
After recently announcing the band’s new lineup with the addition of talented young drummer (and son of Lawrence Gowan), Dylan Gowan as well as a new logo and live dates spanning the east coast of their native Canada – VESPERIA now plan on entering the studio next month to record a short EP/ Mini CD follow up to 2013’s “An Olden Tale”.
The title for the upcoming EP will be called “The Iron Tempest EP” and will span around 18-24 minutes long. Helming the engineering side of the effort will be Ryan Bovaird (frontman of Canadian melodeath band Hallow’s Die). The artwork below was created by none other than Vesperia’s frontman Morgan Rider at his own White North Studios (http://whitenorthstudios.com).

In addition, Vesperia will be performing a string of intimate shows throughout Canada – including an exclusive show with Septicflesh from Greece, Moonspell from Portugal and Deathstars from Sweden. The dates are as follows:
03.13 – Montreal, QC – Piranha Bar
03.14 – London, ON – The APK
04.17 – Kingston, ON – Overtime
04.18 – Belleville, ON – Belle Pub
04.24 – Sudbury, ON – Little Montreal
04.25 – Toronto, ON – Hard Luck
05.13 – Toronto, ON – The Opera House (w/ Septicflesh, Moonspell & Deathstars)
