STIGMHATE overview:
STIGMHATE are active since almost 15 years in the italian black metal scene and have already releases 4 full length albums. Through the years of commitment and professional approach the band has reached a stable lineup and experienced a strong evolution in its sound which has brought to the release of “The Sun Collapse”, a mixture of negative emotions, brutality and melody. The band is well known in the underground scene for its Swedish influenced type of black metal with a more obscure and oppressive attitude and with this third release forges nine brand new tracks into an apocalyptic tale about the end of human existence.“The sun collapse” was released and distributed throughout Europe and the United States, obtaining good response from the press. The band shared the stage with well-know bands as ENTHRONED, DIABOLICAL, HORNA, IMPIETY , OTARGOS , SATANIC WARMASTER , FORGOTTEN TOMB ects, as promotional support on the new album released in March 26 2012 via Bakerteam / Scarlet records.
Stigmhate released their most obscure and oppressive album to date, both musically and lyrically. ‘Zodacare Od Zodameranu’ came out on June 22nd, 2014 via Bakerteam Records / Scarlet Records. Some very special guest appearances by Shyaithan (Impiety) and Nachtgarm (Negator). The album was recorded between Outer Sound Studios and Destroyed Studios by Giuseppe Orlando (Novembre, Necrodeath) and Stigmhate’s own guitarist Mike, and mixed and mastered at Hertz Studios (Behemoth, Vader, Decapitated). The cover artwork and packaging was handled by renowned Brazilian artist Marcelo Vasco (Dimmu Borgir, Keep Of Kalessin, Dark Funeral).
In February 2015 Stigmhate entered the studio to record their new album. Just a couple of days ago, the band stated: “Drums recording is over at Overload Recording Studio / Sala Prove, Diego Aeternus Tasciotti did an amazing job behind the drums. Next step recording guitars, bass and vocals. More news coming soon!!”
