Pakistan’s Grindcore band MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS will release new album “Jamat-al-Maut” on March 30th via Transcending Obscurity Distribution.
MULTINATIONAL CORPORATIONS comprise the duo Sheraz Ahmed (also of DIONYSUS) on all instruments and Hassan Umer on angst-ridden vocals and cathartic, in-your-face lyrics. The music is rebellious grindcore with a nasty attitude, incorporating influences and touches from all over, compiling it all for a scathing backlash against all oppressing forces, mostly political. Targeting various themes from commercialism to anti-corporatism and everything in between, these guys are probably the angriest bunch you’ll come across – have a look at their lyrics and you’ll know. Musically these guys are competent as hell – instead of delivering forgettable grindcore, they infuse hooks, catchy segments with memorable vocal parts, even leads, and last but not the least, they give to the music that irresistible thrashy edge that everyone loves. Crust-laden, well-paced grindcore with a serious attitude, this is one band you guys and girls need to look into.
