Police have revealed a man found dead at Donington Park was a bodyguard at the Download Festival, as reported by burtonmail.co.uk.

Leicestershire Police confirmed that the 55-year-old man whose body was found at Donington Park has been formally identified.

Alan Saunderson, of Liverpool, was working as part of the security team at last weekend’s Download festival, a coroner’s spokesman said.

Police were called to the world famous track at 8am on Tuesday morning following the discovery of a man’s body, found by staff at the circuit.
