Tuska Open Air Festival organizers have issued the recap of this year’s edition, which took place on June 26-28, in Suvilahti-Helsinki:
King of shock rock, Alice Cooper lead the charge as the 18th annual Tuska Festival partied away in sunny Suvilahti, Helsinki over the weekend. More than 25 000 metal aficionados saw and heard 42 bands, bathed sauna, enjoyed the improved food services and generally had an excellent time.
Tuska organization’s Festival Director Metal Mäkynen comments: ”Our improvements regarding the venue features hit the spot and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. This is the chosen path, and next year will be even better. Feels like we’re just hitting the high gears.”
Once again, Tuska thanks the audience, artists and everyone involved for an outstanding weekend. We’ll see you all next year.
