“In League With Satan”, the self-titled debut album from Italian experimental black metallers IN LEAGUE WITH SATAN is now available on Tape through London-based Merdumgiriz Records.

The project is releasing its first full length as its debut collaboration with London based Merdumgiriz Records. The 9 song full length is raw experimental black metal, an ichor of hatred bleeds through the orchestration of raw metal machines. The vocals are sometimes deep sometimes high in their delivery, they are mixed both powerfully and subtly into the reign of chaos that storms whirling in this volatile extreme metal art. From the gates of a raw, bassy but strong as hell production, the samples of suffering voices and theatrics of the unexpected breaks together with the flowing infected piss of the music create a well worth Merdumgiriz release. Blood, hate, terror, get ready for a painful death by IN LEAGUE WITH SATAN.

This Unholy project started in 2007 between Paolo C. “Odio” & Riccardo A. “Total Disgrace”. At that time both have the urge to create someting of powerful and blasphemous, “The Name”, a clear tritbute to the Godfather of Black Metal, VENOM, came after an intensive alcoholic night. After few weeks the songs were wroten, lyrically heavily inspired by an essay on the myth of the Antichrist, some quoting homages to the Genius of H.P. Lovecraft and some nightmares of P.C. Odio. Some of the musical inspiration came from Autopsy, Massacre, Bathory, Necrovore, Sarcofago with a little obsession to insert in every tracks chaotic relentless paranoid solos. Recording was maded between personal home studios for the rythm guit and programming, an external studio for vocals and solos. Mixing was maded at the Mara’s Cave. The Studio who have seen the passage of most of the interesting extreme bands of Italy in those years.

As with his work on all Merdumgiriz releases, each ILWS Tape is handmade by Emir Togrul (YAYLA, ViRANESiR, BLLiiGGHHTTED); who pretty much makes everything from scratch.
