Metal Shock Finland (World Assault )

Legendary vocalist Graham Bonnet, best known for his work as vocalist with Rainbow, Alcatrazz, Michael Schenker Group and Impellitteri, has announced a special show with his Graham Bonnet Band in his hometown of Skegness, England. Graham stated via his official Facebook page:

“I’m coming home…

It was important for me to play in my hometown this year because Skeggy means more to me now than ever. My dear brother Tony Bonnet passed a way a little over a year ago and it made me realize that you can take the boy out of Skeggy but you can never take Skegness out of the boy. It all started here and I want to pay tribute to my friends and family. This is where I first discovered my love of music and more importantly, that I had a talent for singing, playing and writing music. My last show in Skegness was as a young man at the old Festival Pavilion with “the Graham Bonnet Set.” We were a group of fresh faced lads with a burning desire to rule the world and it was one of the best times of my life. I sincerely hope that I will have a chance to see familiar faces; old school mates (Morris Secondary School), neighbors and everyone that was there back in the day. I want this gig to be a more intimate affair allowing me to be interactive with the crowd and reconnect with the people that helped me launch my 50 year career. I hope to see you all there.”
