Italian “Vampiric Metal” legends THEATRES DES VAMPIRES, who recently signed with ALPHA OMEGA Management, are proud to announce a new guitarist, Giorgio Ferrante, to the band’s line-up:

He shared the stage with us two years ago at Gothic Treffen Festival in Lipsia and we understood his attitude and sound was perfect for us. There’s a great feeling and respect between us. We spent with our ex guitarist Stephan an amazing period of about eight years. His presence in the band was important for us as a member of TDV and as a friend. We had great time together on stage all around the world but also in private life. Our friendship is still strong and We wish all the best for his new band and career.”

Italian gothic metal icons THEATRES DES VAMPIRES, formed in 1994, have strong symphonic orchestra influences, mostly noted for the predominant theme of vampirism in their lyrics. The band’s shows have always seen a reasonable level of attendance, and have become more dramatic over the band’s career, incorporating fireworks and “out of line” appearances by Scarlet. The band is currently in studio, working for their 10th studio album, set to be released in 2016. More details about it and the schedule of a new tour will be announced soon!
