WITHERED, the critically acclaimed death metal band from Atlanta, have revealed details of their forthcoming album. The new album, titled ‘Grief Relic’, will be released by Season of Mist worldwide on May 27 and pre-orders are available here. The artwork, painted by acclaimed artist Paul Romano (MASTODON, JEDI MIND TRICKS, BARONESS) can be seen below.

Formed in 2003, WITHERED has created waves in the North American underground through the release of 3 critically acclaimed full lengths. The band’s music, characterized by highly introspective, dark and tumultuous lyrics traverses many sub-genres of extreme metal and show a band evolving from one album to the next.
For the release of ‘Grief Relic’, the band have enlisted the talents of acclaimed bass player Colin Marston (GORGUTS, DYSRHYTMIA, KRALLICE, and more), and Ethan McCarthy on vocals and guitar (PRIMITIVE MAN).
