Finland’s boldest metal festival, Tuska, at Suvilahti, Helsinki Finland on July 1-3, on Friday and Saturday the music plays until midnight!
After all these years, Tuska finally has received the permits to keep on rockin’ until midnight on Friday and Saturday nights, as opposed to the 22:00 curfew of previous years. On the day of the Lord, Tuska will fall silent at 21:00.
Tuska CEO Metal Mäkynen comments: “This is truly awesome. This decision has a huge impact on the festival experience. We can add a few more bands and now it’s nearly dark when the headliners play which builds the atmosphere a great deal. Not to mention the effect this has on the economics. Wonderful progress, indeed. Helsinki, we salute you!”
Tuska 2016 headliners are Avantasia, Ghost and Children Of Bodom.
