MASTERCASTLE are currently in the studio to complete the recording of their sixth album. Title and tracklist will be revealed soon.

Vocalist and MASTERCASTLE frontlady, Giorgia Gueglio tells: “The sound is really ‘innovative and modern of the previous albums. While maintaining Mastercastle trademark, the songs are more’ heavy and characterized by more ‘dark and experimental atmospheres”.

The album is produced by Pier Gonella at Musicart studio while texts and themes are always by the work of Giorgia Gueglio.

“It’s an intense journey through the flavor of life, loneliness and passion” Giorgia adds. “It is not a concept album but there is common thread, light and evanescent as the scent of a Novello wine, connecting several songs. Strength, Power, hope and constant desire here is what we put into this new work. With the constant hope to make you fly, drunk of life and redeem!”

Founded in 2008 by vocalist Giorgia Gueglio and guitarist Pier Gonella (Necrodeath), MASTERCASTLE soon became one of the leading forces in the European Power/Neoclassical Metal scene, thanks to an addictive mix of strong riffs, virtuoso guitar solos and captivating female vocals, developed through each of their five, critically acclaimed albums.

The line up is composed by singer Giorgia Gueglio, guitarist Pier Gonella (Necrodeath Vanexa Odyssea etc), Steve Vawamas (Athlantis), and the powerful new entry as a drummer Alessio Spallarossa (Sadist).
