“Music with a mission…my music is the best platform I have to make a difference in the world. My music-based mission began with my song ‘Combatika’ (watch it here) which raised funds for disabled veterans needing emotional support services. Then I was asked to donate time and services to raise funds for music-related nonprofit organizations. And now there is my upcoming project, ‘Dissonance.”
“The ‘Dissonance’ album and its companion short film have taken more than 2 1/2 years to complete and features some really talented guest artists…but is has a much greater purpose! With so many musicians suffering from drug addiction and numerous high-profile news story about addiction-related deaths of musicians, it felt very necessary to address the problem the best way I knew how…through my music. The short film takes the viewer through the “nightmare” of addiction, and ends with a strong message of hope, help, and redemption. Serving in the dual capacity of a public service announcement, the film also includes resources for those seeking recovery and their families. For maximum exposure and impact, the film will play behind me on stage when playing the ‘Dissonance’ album live, and will be distrubuted for FREE with my album and to addiction/recovery centers, ministries, and programs nationwide.”

“The project is nearing completion, but there is much more to do. I’m requesting you to partner with me to help with the cost of manufacturing, marketing, and distributing the project. Pledges start at $1 and album pre-sales (which includes a copy of the film) starts at $15. And for a limited time, you can be listed as an Executive Producer of the project with a donation of $500 or more. Regardless of the amount of your contribution, every single dollar counts and is greatly appreciated. Together we can change the (often taboo) conversation about addiction/recovery in the music industry.
