Heavy Metallers CIRCLE OF WITCHES will release their new effort “Natural Born Sinners” on May 21st on Sliptrick records.
Natural Born Sinners is the third full-length album in the CIRCLE OF WITCHES’ career. This new chapter is focused upon the concept of riot, with figures of some rebels taken from religion, history, anthropology and literature like Lucifer, Spartacus, Anton Lavey, Giordano Bruno, the persecuted witches. This eleven track album marks a path of heavy metal and doom influences with a sound between Judas Priest, Grand Magus and Candlemass. The concept is also linked to the “Fire” element, the essence of changing matter, brilliant intellect, passion and energy.
The band chose Alpha Omega Studios, on Como Lake in Italy, to record the album with producion credits going to Alex Azzali (Ancient) and Nicholas Barker (Cradle Of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Testament, etc).
The artwork was realized by the Greek graphic designer Nikos Markogiannakis (Rotting Christ, Anubis Gate, Die Sector, etc), the author of the bands previous artwork for the album Rock The Evil. He built a majestic figure, strong, tormented and dynamic although held down in the flames of Hell by barbed wire.
Track by track:
The opener Tongue Of Misery is a track that blows hard against religions and their words full of hypocrisy, against which human’s intellect and disbelief are the only weapons to react. The narrator prefers to be burnt rather than buried in a “sacred” soil.
The second track, The Black House, is dedicated to Anton LaVey’s Church of Satan and it develops it’s Nine Statements.
The following song is an homage to the Italian philosopher, free thinker and mage, Giordano Bruno, who was burnt alive by the Catholic Church in 1600. It’s a chapter full of doomish atmosphere.
The Oracle is the fourth track and deals with the figure of Lucifer under his Promethean significance. He awakened the intellect and the power of creation in mankind, against the will of god.
The following track First Born Sinner is a kind of summary for the album’s themes. It quotes all the other lyrics suggesting that behind all rebelliousness (Spartacus, witches, philosopher, the poor victim of Inquisition…) is a beginner being defined as Sinner …so again Lucifer.
The sixth track tells the story of Spartacus (Prophecy Of Riot), a slave who claimed freedom for himself and his companions against the Roman Empire.
Your Predator is a wicked man who struggles for freedom from his sexual mistress. She turned him into a beast, prone at her blood and violence thirst, until he is able to react and challenge the woman.
Deus Vult is a vocal Latin death sentence inspired by the Inquisition and Malleus Malleficarum documents. It introduces the next track Death To The Inquisitor, which is the story of someone persecuted and tortured under the suspicion of witchery. The protagonist is able to strike down the torturer, led by an unknown inner voice.
You Belong To Witches is a pagan hymn to witches culture, the wisdom coming from rituals of an ancient past and the fear of the common man of this knowledge.
The final song is Cult Of Baphomet, a mystic invocation to the great spirit of knowledge.

The album quickly sold through its initial pressing and is out of print now. With their unique blackened death/doom metal sound, 1914 leads you back in one of the darkest chapters of the last century – they breathe The Great War!
“C’est mon dernier pigeon” is the first ever released official video by the Ukrainians. It illustrates the cruelty of one of the biggest battles in European history, the Battle of Verdun between Germany and France during The Great War. 1914 use historic weapons and surroundings to put the viewer directly into the trenches around Fort Vaux.

1914 on the new video: “We proudly present you our first video for the song “C’est mon dernier pigeon”. The events displayed in the video tell us the story of the Fort Vaux defence during the battle of Verdun in 1916. A handful of brave French soldiers under the command of Major Raynal resisted the outstanding German forces, numbered around 600 men the defenders were capable to destroy more than 3000 of the enemy soldiers but were doomed to fail. After the surrender of the fort garrison, the German army group commander Crown Prince Wilhelm, presented Major Raynal with a French officer’s sword as a sign of respect. Surely, the appropriate act as for the last war of the gentlemen.”
Strongly influenced by genre heroes like Bolt Thrower and Entombed, 1914 released The Blind Leading The Blind, the follow up album for Eschatology of War (2015), on November 11th 2018, exactly 100 years after the end of WWI, which making them one of the most talked about bands in the genre.

On the heels of the April release of their new single Changing of Seasons, the hard rock group SANTA CRUZ has confirmed several high-profile live performances in the coming months. The group’s new lineup, which sees founding guitarist/vocalist Archie Cruz joined by lead guitarist Pav Cruz, bassist Ero Cruz and drummer Toxy Cruz, will make their live debut on June 2, when they will perform alongside BON JOVI at the 75,000-capacity Song Festival Grounds in Tallinn, Estonia. “Bon Jovi has been my biggest influence and source of inspiration since I picked up the guitar,” Archie says. “To say that getting to open for them is a dream come true would be a huge, huge understatement! I am forever grateful for this opportunity and will treasure it until the day I die. Blood on blood!”
The following month – after the group performs at two major Finnish festivals and supports rock legends Whitesnake in Koln, Germany – SANTA CRUZ will join forces with STEEL PANTHER and Alestorm on July 11 in Saarbrücken, Germany for what will surely be a raucous rock show. In America, meanwhile, SANTA CRUZ was recently announced as one of the performers at Aftershock 2019, California’s largest annual rock festival. Taking place in Sacramento from October 11-13, the event will see the band play alongside some of the genre’s biggest names, including Slipknot, Tool and Rob Zombie. Aftershock takes place just two weeks after SANTA CRUZ will perform at the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky, where they will play alongside the likes of Guns N’ Roses, Disturbed and Godsmack. Additional shows in America and Europe will be announced shortly.

About ANGELES:
Dale Lytle and Dave Raudman united the musicians that would form the band known as Angeles. Their first Hollywood gig was at the Troubadour where they were setting attendance records playing the midnight slot on Sunday nights. They also played at The Whiskey and The Roxy on the Sunset strip in Hollywood California they became one of L.A.’s largest Indie bands of the 80’s. They performed at Devonshire Downs outdoor stadium to over 6,000 people twice and also played In-A-Godda_Da-Vida with Ron Bushy from Iron Butterfly.
In 1984, Angeles performed at the Reseda Country Club, appearing with Bon Jovi. They have also shared a stage with Quiet Riot, Motley Crue, Ratt, Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, and Ronnie James Dio, Jefferson Starship, Robbie Krieger of the Doors, Jack Russell’s “Great White”, The Tubes, Foghat, Y&T, Michael Schenker,and Dokken just to name a few of the legends of Rock N Roll. Signed to Mystic records, Angeles recorded their debut album “We’re No Angels”. In 1984. They were featured in the1985 September issue of Hit Parader magazine. A number of Angeles’ songs, including “Nasty Girls”, “You Want Me To Love You”, and “Can’t Find the Words” has been played on nationwide radio stations.
In 1999, their album “No Limits” was featured on 95.5 KLOS Local Licks Sunday night program. Angeles was honored to not only be featured on the program four times, but they were also the only band to ever have six songs played on a Double Local Licks feature in a single program. During one week in 1999, “Can’t Find the Words” was played 527 times. The song continued to play nationwide on radio stations. Angeles has released 12 album (CDs) to date. On February 2019, ANGELES emerged to Dark Star Records/Sony. The band’s new album will released on October 1st 2019 on Dark Star Records/Sony.
