Massachusetts based Doom Metal Quintets MERROWFIELDS will release their debut album “Metamorphoses” in April 2020, via Black Lion Records.
“Metamorphoses,” is an exploration of the creation and demise of mankind inspired by mythological tales of old. Mixing sounds from traditional doom metal and black metal, the band uses soaring clean vocals to convey thematic elements of devastation, loss, greed, and anguish. From crushing doom riffs to dreamlike blackened influences, MERROWFIELDS offer a punishing and haunting approach for fans of the genre.
