Aware of public health issues and respecting the decisions announced by the President of France to limit the spread of the virus, SdF Prod has decided to postpone the concert of Rockin’1000 originally scheduled at the Stade de France on Saturday 4th July 2020 to summer 2021.
This is only a postponement for amateur musicians already selected for the 2020 edition, who have been rehearsing for several months and remain selected to play live on the pitch of the Stade de France the highest standards of rock during the edition 2021.
This is only a postponement for all spectators who are fans of rock because their ticket remains valid and will allow them to access the concert of the next edition. For spectators wishing to do so, a refund is nevertheless possible by contacting directly the sales network in which the ticket was purchased.
We look forward to meeting you and the whole Stade de France and Rockin’1000 team in collaboration with its partners, all are working now to make the 2021 edition, the date of which will be announced later, the unforgettable rock festival that we all deserve.
Keep rockin’ and take care!

Rockin’1000 was born from an idea by Fabio Zaffagnini, marine geologist with a passion for music and regular concert attender who, in 2014, put together a team composed of Cisko Ridolfi, Claudia Spadoni, Mariagrazia Canu, Martina Pieri, Anita Rivaroli and Marta Guidarelli to organize a never-before-seen tribute: 1,000 musicians playing Learn to Fly by the Foo Fighters in unison in a park in Cesena. Within a few hours, the bizarre homage became a viral video and Dave Grohl – front man of the well-known American band, accepted the invite and came to play a concert in Cesena. That video has currently passed 52 million views and has received awards and international acknowledgments (Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards, Google – Year in Search 2015, Facebook Year in review, just to name a few). Today, Rockin’1000 has become a true and proper format, the biggest rock band in the world. It puts on concerts in stadiums (Cesena, Florence, Paris, Frankfurt), it produces albums with major record labels (in 2016 with Sony Music Italy), it collaborates with artists (Courtney Love, Andra Day, Subsonica, Manuel Agnelli), and it builds partnerships with festivals and companies. In 2020, a movie about the genesis of Rockin’1000 is coming out.
