“All songs from the album are based on the song ideas I’ve written for a particular video about a certain amp, effect pedal etc. for my YouTube channel ( https://www.youtube.com/c/EugeValovirta230V ) except ‘A Song For An Absent Friend’ which I wrote to my grandpa and to my friend Alexi after they passed away. “

“Pasadena ‘78 is my tribute to the late great Eddie Van Halen. Van Halen was founded in Pasadena and their first album came out in 1978 so the title comes from that. I tried to capture the mood of the carefree days of youth and the vibe of the classic 80s glam rock / hair metal and those endless Californian summers which we all just dreamed during the long & cold winters in Finland :-). Long live King Edward and his fantastic music.”
