DOWN THE STONE Release New EP “Rusty Leash” on October 22nd

Italian hard rockers DOWN THE STONE will release their new EP “Rusty Leash” next week, on October 22nd, via Volcano Records.

Down the Stone was born in 2013 When they released their first ep “Metamorphosis” decreeing the birth of “Stone’s sound”, a modern and powerful rock with contamination of the best rock / metal of the past.
In June 2014, during a concert at the Legend Club in Milan, they were noticed by Marco Barusso, the which offers him the opportunity to produce the first complete album “Life”. On December 16, 2016 “Life”, the band’s first full length, was officially published. The record gets an excellent reception, both in Italy and abroad (with reviews and radio passages in various Countries) and the Life tour brings Down the Stone to perform on numerous stages in northern Italy. During the same period, guitarist Giordano Conti is forced to temporarily leave the band for Health problems. His post is filled ad interim by Gary D’Eramo (Node). A few months later, Dave Swan (Crue Infection) replaces Gary D’Eramo as acting guitarist. Giordano Conti definitively leaves the project on January 31, 2020 together with singer Lorenzo Ricci. On the same day Down the Stone announce the entry into the line up of the new singer Luca Colombo (Neodea) and entrust Dave Swan with the role of lead guitarist and rhythm. The band is currently working on the second album with the new lineup.
