Newly-formed metal band from Norway THE DAY WE LEFT EARTH have signed with GAIN/Fifth Island Music and will release their debut single the 15th of April.
Martin Bjerke is the brains behind The Day We Left Earth. The idea was born in the middle of the Covid-pandemic and together with songwriter and producer Simen Handeland, they have written and developed all music for the band.
Shortly after, the band was signed to Guilty Gorilla Group, a management co-owned by Jake E (Cyhra, Amaranthe). In parallell to this, a number of auditions and interviews was carried through, which resulted in the band finding a solid line-up with the right amount of experience and personal chemistry.

The debut single ‘EDEN‘ is the first step of what shall come to be a full length album in 2022.
