‘Nomadic Step‘ is the final single by Montreal glitter rock n’ roll outfit DANGEREENS in anticipation of their upcoming album and is out now via Golden Robot Records. 

Drawing inspiration from 60s Motown as well as 70s sleazy pub rock, this one’s a light hearted stomper about seeing an unsuspected love constantly sliding through your hands. The action packed single combines a restless rhythm section with jumpy guitars and a string trio shrilling and thrilling through the song, graciously covered with nonchalant crackly vocals.

Tough Luck is glitter punks Dangereens‘ 1st full length album. Musically inspired by early 70’s glam rock and 50’s rock n’ roll, the band offers observations of our daily struggles from the point of view of local characters, wrapped in raw, raucous, yet sweet tones. The result is an opus characterized by a vintage yet pertinent sound that brings strange feelings of lightheadedness and comfort, around the sometimes obscure lyrics

Dangereens is the most elegantly decadent rock n’ roll unit of the 21st century, period.

Their sound and aesthetic combine touches of 70s junkshop glam with sleazy, primal 50s rock n’ roll. Known locally as one of Montreal’s finest toe taping act, theses cats are guaranteed to make you scream and shout while wearing your finest glitter and sequin blouse!

The band formed in the spring of 2017, and since then they have engaged in a feverish song writing streak that led them to put out EPs, singles and one LP, Tough Luck, their proudest and most accomplished release so far. Since their formation, the band has toured restlessly around countless Canadian cities like Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec and Halifax, as well as American cities like New York and Boston. Their live performances include theatrical elements mixed with high energy, glitter punk attitude.
