VALKEAT Release First Episode of “Fireborn” Album Documentary

Finnish newcomers VALKEAT will release their second studio album “Fireborn” on August 18, 2023. An album that will lead a new generation of Finnish Modern Folk & Symphonic Metal. The first two singles “Tribe” and “My Crown” were acclaimed by fans and critics alike. Sweden Rock magazine writes that “Fireborn” is the album destined to awaken the folk metal genre again.

But who is behind the name VALKEAT? The band is now stepping out of the shadows and releasing the first part of the documentary series “The Creation of Fireborn” to take a deeper look behind the scenes, bring you closer to the music and Finnish tradition.

Named after the magical artifact Sampo from the “Kalevala”, an artifact that creates eternal wealth, “Fireborn” was forged mostly at the renowned Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki.
