Fotis Sotiropoulos commented about the song: “When we were in the studio recording this song, I asked Tasos to make a growl voice in the finale, I strongly believed it would fit perfectly, I still do. Tasos refused, so I decided to take over and took my place behind the microphone full of confidence. After a couple of tries, I almost choked myself to death coughing, while the others outside burst out laughing and asking for more. Nevertheless, even without growls “Disobey” is a very powerful and modern song. It’s a reminder to people to always question authorities. Leaving them unquestioned can be a really dangerous thing.”
