Hard Rock Sensations BAD As to Release Cover for Joan Baez’s ‘Diamonds and Rust’ + New Full-Length Album in the Works

Heavy rock sensations BAD As have announced that the band will release their cover for Joan Baez‘s ‘Diamonds and Rust’, set to be released later this year.

This is what John Jeff Touch, band’s vocalist, shared on their version of ‘Diamonds and Rust’:
“Diamonds and Rust, composed, and performed by Joan Baez. It was written in November 1974 and released in 1975. The great Judas Priest recorded a cover of “Diamonds & Rust”, with some of the verses omitted, on their album Sin After Sin (1977). Some decades later the Italian metal band BAD As decided to make their own cover of that iconic song, played with their unique style, based on both acoustic and electric versions of the song.”

In addition, the band reveals that they are already working on their next full-length album with recently announced new line-up (John Jeff Touch – vocals, Alberto Rigoni – bass, Leonardo Caverzan – guitar, Iacopo Bergamasco – drums). More information TBA, stay tuned!
