SLOPE, the dynamic quintet steering clear of the nine-to-five life, released their new album, “Freak Dreams,” on February 2nd, 2024!
The album boasts eleven tracks that dive deep into funk, delivering a fusion of weird timings, monstrous grooves, resonating basslines, and colossal riffs. The band shared the single and video, „WHY SAD,“ offering a taste of their diverse influences and experimental elements within the record.
Drawing inspiration from the likes of Beastie Boys, Rage Against The Machine, and early Red Hot Chili Peppers, SLOPE infuses their music with infectious energy, hooks, and thought-provoking lyrics, addressing personal struggles and societal dissatisfaction.
The band comments on their new long-player as follows:
“‘Freak Dreams‘ is a mix of all our individual influences and by far our most divers album. On some songs we did a lot of experimental elements that gives the record a different vibe and we couldn’t be more happy with the outcome! The whole process of writing felt like evolving to a new chapter for Slope and we are proud to share it with the world!”
“Freak Dreams” featuring limited edition vinyl variants and a CD Jewelcase with a poster booklet are available now. Order the new Album here.
Stay tuned for more updates from this genre-defying group, and catch them live on their 2024 tour across Europe!
