KAIRA Announce Antti Myllynen (Barren Earth) as Keyboard Player

Finnish 6-piece progressive doom metallers KAIRA have announced that Antti Myllynen (Barren Earth) has joined the band as a keyboard player:

LOOK! It’s Mister Tokm… Bloody hell it isn’t! It’s Antti, our new keyboard player. Kaira is thus a six-headed, fire-breathing mythical dragon 🐲

We’re so damn excited about Antti’s arrival in the band (Anti has played in multiple bands but he is most known for his work @ Barren Earth) that we can’t keep the beer can in our hands. Welcome Antti!

Antti himself commented on the matter:

“I happened to listen to Kaira’s “Viimeinen Valo” EP in December 2023, and I immediately got excited about the music. I immediately sent Markus a message, which led me to Bar Loose to check out the band’s live performance. I heard a huge potential in Kaira, so we decided to start a collaboration!

Through hard training, we finally got to play with the whole band on Wednesday and the feelings are very good! I’m already looking forward to upcoming gigs and new material where I can mix my own visions with Kaira’s music! Stay tuned!”
