Australians ENVENOMED are back! 5 years after their highly acclaimed album “The Walking Shred”, they are preparing for a new album.  To remind their fans in advance, they are releasing “Israel’s Son”, a metal cover version of a true Down Under classic, originally by Silverchair. As ENVENOMED are known for putting a wink in everything they do, this time the poor frog in the cover had to be used: a reminiscence of the original cover from the 90s.

Hailing from Melbourne – Australia, ENVENOMED are a melodic thrash driven Heavy Metal band that have been a consistent and dominating force on their local scene since forming in the mid 2000s. Influenced by the soaring melody of Iron Maiden & Symphony X and the aggression and groove of Metallica, Testament and Megadeth, ENVENOMED combine these styles whilst still retaining the hooks of traditional Heavy Metal with World Class musicianship. The Roll-on effect flowed onto picking up supporting slots for WARBRINGER & TRIVIUM with the release of 2016’s ‘Reckoning’ to positive and overwhelming response. Not to mention knocking it out of the park later that year with their Metal’d up cover version of the SKYHOOKS classic ‘Horror Movie’ featuring original guitarist and Australian Media personality ‘Red Symons’ in their remake of the video clip some four decades later! After honing their craft on the Australian live circuit countless times over, ENVENOMED head into 2019 with the world in their sights, sporting their Sophomore Full Length release “The Walking Shred” (El Puerto Records) . With knock on success opening for ANVIL, THE IRON MAIDENS, DRAGONLAND & LOUDNESS, ENVENOMED step forward to the future with the wind at their back, wielding one of the most diverse and hook laden Heavy releases to come out of their part of the world to date!
