In his own words, The Anix explains. “‘Shadow’ presents a hybrid electronic sludge infused alternative rock track, inspired by the early 2000’s culture and sound. The track exploits the phenomenon of “Shadow” personality traits- the side of us that rarely gets shown to the world. Psychological studies show that for every positive, or useful trait we posses, we have counteractive negative ones that we battle with throughout our lives. Some learn to work with these traits, some use them to their benefits, and some hide them away.”
