October 18, 2024, marks a pivotal moment for POISON BLACKOUT with the release of “Forever”, the band’s first song in Italian, signaling a new artistic phase. Distributed by Wanikiya Record/Promotion, “Forever” is the first in a series of singles set to be released in the coming months, leading up to the launch of a new album in 2025.
“Forever” is a powerful, intense track with a bold character. Federico Carbone (the band’s sole permanent member) once again showcases his ability to evolve without losing his identity. The sound is rooted in Alternative Rock but stands out thanks to the addition of drop-tuned guitars and electronic samples, which give the track a fresh, modern edge. Despite this shift in sound, the essence of Poison Blackout remains recognizable and true to their style.

Poison Blackout is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Federico Carbone from Bergamo, Italy. The single “One Love” premiered exclusively on Metal Hammer. The track “Not Fair” was performed on the prestigious Ariston stage during the finals of Sanremo Rock. In November 2021, the band released their first official album, “Inner Shelters And Starry Skies”. Thanks to appearances at major events in key Italian cities, the band began to establish themselves, especially in northern Italy. In January 2023, they released a new EP titled “Blood n’ Sins”, followed by a successful tour. In January 2024, they dropped a new single, “Fix Myself”, the last English-language track of the project. With “Forever”, Poison Blackout embarks on a new chapter in Italian, introducing a series of unreleased tracks.
