RESOLVE Release New Single And Video ‘Sandman’

French metalcore quartet Resolve have announced their new album Human (Extended Cut), which will be released on 25th October, 2024 via Arising Empire. This version of Human, which was originally released in 2023, will not only include brand new music, but also the ‘The Fire, The Aftermath, The Everlasting’ live performance as a bonus.

In celebration, the band is now unveiling another new single ‘Sandman’, merging the lines between the past and present.

Resolve‘s bassist, Robin Mariat comments on the track:

“Some months ago, Anthony (Resolve‘s lead singer and songwriter) went through an episode of sleep paralysis. If you’re lucky enough to have never experienced it, imagine waking up in the dead of night with a terrifying figure looking over you, and being unable to move or ask for help. The next day, Anthony came up with the demo for ‘Sandman’ originally named ‘Sleep Paralysis’. That probably explains the nightmarish vibe of the track. The choruses though, are epic and hopeful, a reminder that even in the darkest moments of our lives, there will always be something or someone to lift us up and bring us back into the light.”
