With “Mother’s Monster”, CROSSPLANE, the hellhounds from the Ruhrpott, release the cover artwork and tracklist of their upcoming album, which will hit the stores on February 14th, 2025.
The album sets new standards in terms of raw energy and uncompromising sound. Waldemar Sorychta, who has worked for legendary bands such as Lacuna Coil and Tiamat, has contributed to the album’s unique sound as producer, bringing his musical expertise and creative vision to take Crossplane’s sound to a new level. Together with Dennis Köhne, who was responsible for mixing and mastering alongside Sorychta, he created a sonic masterpiece that shines through in every note.
Thematically, the album gets under your skin: in his lyrics, Marcel Mönnig processes the monsters of his childhood and deals intensively with personal dark sides. This dark atmosphere is not only reflected in the lyrics, but also in the visual concept. The impressive cover artwork, designed by Axel Hermann, known for his iconic works in the metal scene, reflects Mönnig’s own experiences and emphasizes the emotional intensity of the album.
The first single, “Never Let Me Down (Hazardous Version)”, will also be released.
If the song sounds somehow familiar to you, feel free to call up your inner “Depeche Mode” playlist and then enjoy this quite daring combination!
This also marks the start of pre-sales for the album:
It will be available on CD, Special Limited Edition Collerctors Box and red vinyl.
