WANTED, Detroit’s unrelenting force in hard rock & metal, unleashes a sonic storm with their latest single and explosive new video, ‘Take Me Away’ from their most recent album, Cutting Edge. The album dropped globally on Friday, June 27 via esteemed U.S. hard rock label Eonian Records, and is now available on CD & Limited-Edition Green Vinyl.

Formed in 2021, WANTED is driven by a singular mission: to reignite the fire of the loud, melodic hard rock, and classic metal that once dominated arenas and airwaves. Drawing inspiration from legends like Van Halen, Ratt, and Dokken, the band fuses retro spirit with modern swagger, delivering hook-heavy anthems and hard-hitting performances that have quickly earned them a loyal following.

The video for ‘Take Me Away’ is a high-octane visual companion to the single, channeling the song’s explosive energy and nostalgic heart. Shot by videographer Danny Huk, while directed by Griffin Lantz and lead guitarist, Alan Mares, the video captures the band in top form, raw, vibrant, and undeniably magnetic.

The lineup features Sterling Primeau (vocals), Alan Mares (lead guitar), Christian Shonts (guitar), Paul Slezak (bass), and Chris Rajt (drums). Now all in their twenties, the band has evolved rapidly since their 2023 release, bringing a sharpened edge and broader sonic palette to ‘Cutting Edge‘. Listeners can expect nods to the precision of’84 Judas Priest, the grit of Armored Saint, the anthemic power of Scorpions, and the finesse of Queensryche, Great White, and Icon.
