Internationally renowned bassists ALBERTO RIGONI (Italy – soloist, BAD As, Vivaldi Metal Project, ex-Twinspirits, etc.) and MICHAEL MANRING (USA – solo, Alex Skolnic, Steve Morse etc.) are thrilled to announce they are working together again on a brand-new instrumental progressive rock/ambient-oriented album.
Following the critical acclaim of their previous collaboration, “Grains of Sand”, this new project will once again push the boundaries of bass-driven music. As with the last album, the focus will remain firmly on the bass guitar, showcased in all its expressive potential and sonic versatility, alongside powerful and intricate drumming.
However, this time the duo has something truly unique in store:
👉 A third bassist will join the line-up, adding an exciting new dimension to the music.
👉 The name of this guest bassist—as well as the drummer—will be revealed soon.
“We’re exploring new sonic landscapes and interplay between three distinct bass voices,” says Rigoni.
“It’s going to be something very special,” adds Manring.
There is no official release date yet, but one or two singles are expected to be released before the end of the year.
Stay tuned for more news, exclusive previews, and the unveiling of the full lineup.
