The concept behind ŹRENICE band emerged in June 2022, right after the final concert of the previous band formed by four of the group’s current musicians. Choosing to close that chapter and start anew, the band spent the following months shaping the instrumental foundations of what would become their debut album “Śnienie“, all while searching for the right voice to complete their sound. In 2024, singer Kamila joined the band, whose presence propelled the creative process forward.
On “Śnienie“, Źrenice forge a distinctive sonic identity, weaving together elements of alternative rock and metal, post-rock, black and sludge metal, and touches of folk-inspired mysticism and dreamlike storytelling.
Music for “Śnienie” debut album was recorded by Krzysztof Godycki at Studio Roslyn (Mord’A’Stigmata). All was mixed and mastered by Haldor Grunberg at Satanic Audio (Behemoth, Dom Zły, Entropia, Terrestrial Hospice, Hostia). Single cover artwork was done by duo Bartosz Gorzel & Łukasz Hawryluk. Debut album is set up on release in March 2026 by Via Nocturna.
Today, Źrenice band presents song “Endymion” which is available for listening at all major streaming platforms (here).
“Endymion” is the debut single by Źrenice, in which the band confronts one of the most deeply affecting issues of our time: the experience of depression and the journey toward rediscovering a sense of purpose.
The track combines emotional vocals with intensifying instrumental layers, crafting a narrative of falling apart, breaking down, and slowly gathering the strength to move forward.
“Endymion” is a tribute to the brave and the sensitive – the quiet souls who peel away the layers of illusion that often surround our daily lives. It resonates with those caught in a cycle marked by loss and the constant search for deeper meaning. Źrenice believe that when such empathetic individuals “rise again,” they bring warmth to others – warmth that can inspire the courage needed to take steps out of a difficult place.
