Karma Field Records presents MOONDANCE (Acrilico su tela), the new single by SOLO1981,
a solo project active since 2014 and led by Stefano Giambastiani, musician and songwriter already known for his work with Acid Brains and other bands from the alternative scene.

MOONDANCE (Acrilico su tela) aims to portray the era we live in: a time dominated by smartphones, social networks, television, and a society that is constantly rushing forward, progressively losing humanity and empathy. A context that risks making us blind, deaf, and apathetic.

The track was born as a call to open our eyes and awaken from the numbness we have fallen into.

The first single taken from SOLO1981’s upcoming album V_WEIRD, scheduled for release on February 20, 2026, the song anticipates the sonic imagery of the new work: a suspended balance between electronics, alternative rock, and post-punk influences, where atmosphere and introspection coexist in a personal and unconventional form.

The track is accompanied by an official video created by Stefano Giambastiani and Silvia Landi, translating the concept and aesthetic of MOONDANCE (ACRYLIC ON CANVAS) into images, reinforcing its message and visual dimension.

The single was released on January 23, 2026 on all major digital platforms and in radio rotation from the same date.

International promotion and distribution of the single will be handled by Wanikia Records, partner of the project for overseas promotional activities.

The album was recorded by Matteo Teani at Tana del Lupo (Lucca), mixed and mastered by Rosario Magazzino at Temple of Noise Studio. Produced by Stefano Giambastiani and Rosario Magazzino.
