Finnish hard-rock juggernaut HÄ/DA first introduced itself to the world with their (Almost) 20 Minutes Of Love, an unapologetically AC/DC-worshipping EP release in the spring of ’25. Now they have a brand-new, full album follow-up releasing this autumn.
The first single from the upcoming record is the energetic rock tune Workingman’s Blues, released on Wednesday, 17 June 2026.
“The lyrics deal with what an ordinary working-class person thinks about the current state of the world — where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, and honest working won’t make you wealthy,” vocalist Antti “DeeAa” Heikkinen says.

Much like the debut EP, the forthcoming album walks firmly in AC/DC’s footsteps, especially in terms of instrumentation. “What would Angus Young play?” has been guitarist Juho “Hässi” Hämäläinen’s guiding dogma in HÄ/DA from the day one — and that principle still remains. Nevertheless, DeeAa’s flexible delivery and catchy vocal melodies broaden the band’s sonic palette, ensuring this is far from a personality-free pastiche.
Tracks from HÄ/DA’s debut EP received radio play on FM and online stations in the United States, France, England and Scotland.
Hässi also performs in Dirty Deeds Indeed, one of Finland’s longest-running AC/DC tribute bands, as well as in the heavy-rock outfit Rane Rautiainen & Paha Kaksonen. DeeAa, in turn, is the singer-guitarist of the Kuopio-based heavy-rock band Mosfite. The musicians also share a past in the late-1990s Jyväskylä rock group Brutaali Magneetti.
BOMBUS’ self-titled debut album, ‘Bombus,’ was originally released in 2010 via Mourningwood Recordings. This Swedish heavy metal release earned widespread critical acclaim and established the band’s raw, uncompromising sound.
The album sold out within weeks and has remained unavailable ever since — until now. It finally returns in a newly remastered edition with updated artwork, reissued via Black Lodge Records, and available on September 11th.
Reborn and revitalized, the 2010 debut burns brighter than ever. This definitive edition has been remastered by Magnus Lindberg (Redmount Studios), renowned for his work with The Hellacopters, Cult of Luna, Refused, Alcest, and more, bringing enhanced clarity and power to the album’s original intensity.
This reissue also includes the standout track “Biblical,” a longtime fan favorite and a bold detour within the band’s catalog.
Since forming in 2008, BOMBUS have built a formidable reputation within the Scandinavian rock and metal scene. Following their explosive debut, the band went on to release ‘The Poet and the Parrot’ (2013), ‘Repeat Until Death’ (2016), ‘Vulture Culture’ (2019), and most recently the critically acclaimed ‘Your Blood’ (2024), continuously evolving their sound while staying true to their roots.
Symphonic power metal powerhouse Valkyrie’s Fire has officially raised the stakes for the American heavy music scene with the premiere of their breathtaking new music video for “Burning Sky“. Directed by the visionary team at ProMotion LLC, the visual masterpiece serves as a cinematic triumph, juxtaposing the haunting, historic corridors of Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary in Tennessee with the stark, atmospheric woodlands of Stockholm, Sweden. The track marks a monumental milestone for the Nashville-based group, featuring an explosive guest vocal performance from Mikael Sehlin, the acclaimed frontman of Swedish metal titans Amaranthe. By blending high-concept storytelling with a fierce, multi-vocal delivery, the video captures the sheer auditory scale of the track while introducing global audiences to the next evolution of American symphonic metal.
This is the first single & music video taken from their upcoming full-length album Out of Darkness which will be released on September 18, 2026 via Eclipse Records.
Musically, the track delivers a unique fusion of melodic power metal and aggressive metalcore elements, a combination that heavily relies on a dynamic three-vocal assault. The operatic excellence of Bettie Floyd and the refined harmonies of Adam Sanders lock seamlessly with the savage, roaring growls of Sehlin, creating a massive wall of sound. This vocal interplay elevates the composition, which guitarist Joey Grimaldi meticulously crafted to establish a darker, more majestic atmosphere. Lyrically, “Burning Sky” approaches historical and biblical imagery from a captivating, theatrical storytelling perspective. The visual aesthetic of the music video heavily relies on a muted, desaturated color palette to amplify the raw emotional gravity of the performances. Fire serves as a central symbolic element throughout the video, visually puncturing the gloom to represent resilience, vengeance, and rebirth amid total desolation.

Valkyrie’s Fire, a symphonic power metal sextet, is set to redefine the American landscape of the genre with their debut full-length album, Out of Darkness. Scheduled for release on September 18, 2026, through Eclipse Records, the album serves as a sophisticated evolution of the band’s melodic foundations. Produced and engineered by Joey Grimaldi, the record boasts a polished, sonic profile that equals the European giants of the genre. The visual identity of the project is equally prestigious, featuring cover art by the legendary Jan Yrlund, whose portfolio includes iconic designs for Battle Beast, Manowar and Delain. A central pillar of the album is the towering track “Burning Sky”, which features a guest appearance by Mikael Sehlin of Amaranthe. Sehlin, who also lent his expertise to the mastering of the album, provides a gritty vocal contrast to the soaring symphonic arrangements. The song explores the harrowing endurance of the human spirit through historical and biblical lenses. While Burning Sky offers aggressive intensity, “Cascade” invites the listener into a more atmospheric experience. The song depicts the transition from dusk to night, focusing on the clarity of the cosmos as constellations emerge from the gloom. Conversely, “Evermore” takes inspiration from the melancholic works of Edgar Allan Poe. Unlike the traditional gloom associated with The Raven, Valkyrie’s Fire reinterprets the narrative as a journey through grief toward a place of hope. Out of Darkness positions Valkyrie’s Fire as a formidable contemporary to bands like Epica, Within Temptation and Nightwish. By blending the grandiosity of European symphonic metal with the sharp production values of the modern Nashville metal scene, the band has created a debut that feels both timeless and urgent. Out of Darkness by Valkyrie’s Fire will be released on September 18, 2026 via Eclipse Records.
About Valkyrie’s Fire Nashville’s Valkyrie’s Fire bridges European grandiosity and American grit into a definitive symphonic power metal sound. Blending dual-vocal harmonies, heavy instrumentation, and orchestral depth, the award-winning band draws comparisons to Nightwish and Epica. Following their debut EP Ascension in 2024 (Eclipse Records), they now drop their 13-track full-length album Out of Darkness, a monumental journey through grief, history, and cosmic beauty. Valkyrie’s Fire is Bettie Floyd (vocals), Adam Sanders (vocals), Joey Grimaldi (guitar), Ryan Metroka (drums), Dave Hale (bass), Salem Belladonna (keys, cello).

“On our next album, there is a very special song that calls for a massive wall of pig squeals”, Benighted vocalist Julien Truchan says in a video message. “We want all of our fans to be a part of it. Send us your best pig squeal so we can build a choir of pure sickness that will make a butcher weep!”.

Dive into the darkest realms of the human psyche as BENIGHTED, the French purveyors of brutal death metal & grindcore, unleash their tenth full-length album Ekbomin April 2024. The madness that has defined their discography continues with this radical soundtrack to the twisted times we inhabit.
Born from French Death and Black metal bands DISHUMANIZED, DARKNESS FIRE, and OSGILIATH, BENIGHTED emerged in 1998 with a mission to explore a more brutal, heavy, and modern form of musical expression. The impact of their first self-produced and self-titled full-length album in 2000 transformed BENIGHTED from a side-project into a main act, quickly amassing a devoted fan base. Subsequent albums like Psychose (2002), Insane Cephalic Production (2004), Identisick (2006), and Icon (2007) further cemented their visceral, skull-breaking sound into extreme death metal history.
After a detour into the realms of Necrobreed in 2017, BENIGHTED celebrated their 20th anniversary by capturing the live madness with Dogs Always Bite Harder Than Their Master in 2018.
With Obscene Repressed, they once again took sadistic pleasure in pushing the boundaries of brutality, delving into the disturbed mind of little Michael. His relentless battle against demons, fueled by unresolved oedipal issues with his mother, provided a grotesque tableau for BENIGHTED‘s sonic butchery. Not content with merely slaughtering everything in their auditory path, BENIGHTED crafted thematically explorative pieces, each turn in their music revealing new layers of horror and despair.
As the relentless journey continues, BENIGHTED is set to unleash Ekbom in April 2024, an album that draws inspiration from the nightmarish ‘Ekbom syndrome.’ This rare neurological disorder, also known as Delusional Parasitosis, forms the thematic core of the upcoming release. A feeling of having a vile concoction of parasites, worms, and insects crawling under your skin is an apt description of what BENIGHTED have to offer on this newest release. The auditory assault mirrors the repulsive sensations of the syndrome, a visceral and unsettling journey into the abyss of the human mind.
Madness reigns yet again, this time intertwining with the haunting echoes of Ekbom syndrome. Brace yourselves for another mind-shattering chapter in the BENIGHTEDsaga as they continue to carve their niche in the putrid annals of extreme metal, leaving a trail of sonic disgust in their wake.

Available now on all digital platforms, “Ciò che l’acqua mi ha dato” is the brand-new single by Italian heavy rock band ARTEMISIA, released by Volcano Records.
With this new track, the long-running Italian band returns to explore intense and profound sonic territories, moving between heavy metal and progressive rock through a distinctive formula that blends power, experimentation, and storytelling. The result is a compelling piece that further strengthens ArtemisiA’s unmistakable artistic identity. Inspired by Frida Kahlo’s 1938 painting of the same name, the single transforms the artwork’s powerful symbolism into music, where water becomes a reflective surface of the unconscious — a vessel of memory, pain, and identity. Much like the Mexican artist’s vision, body and mind merge into a suspended space where obsessions, fragility, and deeper truths emerge.
Musically, “Ciò che l’acqua mi ha dato” strikes a balance between heavy-driven power, dark atmospheres, and progressive structures, preserving the evocative intensity that has always been a defining element of ArtemisiA’s songwriting. The track unfolds as an introspective journey, inviting listeners to dive into the unconscious and confront whatever rises back to the surface. Alongside the release, the official music video is now available on YouTube, featuring a combination of live footage and studio sessions that captures the band’s raw energy and artistic essence. The video highlights the intensity, chemistry, and emotional depth that stand at the core of both the song and ArtemisiA’s creative vision.
Founded in 2006 by Vito Flebus and Anna Ballarin, ArtemisiA have built a recognizable identity over the years through dark atmospheres, literary influences, and a powerful live presence. After six albums and important collaborations, including one with Omar Pedrini, the band is currently working on their new full-length album, set for release this September via Volcano Records, with this single serving as a significant preview of what’s to come.

Brutally Delicious announces the release of its first original heavy metal audio drama, a 22-minute immersive production that merges narrative storytelling with the intensity and atmosphere of extreme metal.
The story follows a group of teenagers who discover a 19th century Victrola containing a hidden Latin incantation. When spoken, the phrase activates the device, transporting them into the world of whatever song is playing. Each track becomes a fully realized environment, where the characters must navigate hostile, shifting realities and survive until the music ends.
Failure is not an option. If the song finishes before they escape, they do not return.
The production features voice performances from members of Cruachan, Melechesh, and Caster Volor, bringing authentic metal presence and vocal intensity directly into the narrative. Each performance helps shape the tone and identity of the worlds the characters are pulled into, blurring the line between soundtrack and story.
Written, recorded, and produced by Bruce Moore of Brutally Delicious, the project draws from metal’s deep thematic roots, mythology, history, and existential tension, while presenting them in a cinematic, story-driven format.
Audio mixing and foley by Annabelle Kyle create a dense, immersive soundscape that places the listener inside the environment, while visuals by Noah Riopel extend the experience beyond audio, offering a surreal and evolving visual counterpart to the narrative.
The result is a hybrid of audio drama and metal experience that pushes beyond traditional genre boundaries.
