UNISONIC have announced via their official Facebook page that vocalist Michael Kiske has recently suffered an injury. The band stated:
“Sadly, on the 4th of October in Kaufbeuren, Germany, Michael Kiske had an accident right before the last song of UNISONIC´s set.
After a jump, he twisted his knee and fell on the side. The result is a cruciate ligament rupture which the doctors say will take a while to recover from.
Fortunately, Michael puts his fans before his pain and will continue the current tour with EDGUY, no matter what the costs. Although he will not be able to move on stage, Michael says he’s happy that he still can sing for the fans during the next shows. So, don’t fret!
The show will go on and we, the band UNISONIC, are very glad about this!
See you all on the road – rock on!”
Get well soon Michael!

The news is just in that the show on 6th October has been cancelled, details below:
Concert in Poznań ultimately cancelled, or how down on national artists in this country has become. Poland was the second country, after Russia, in which for political reasons has been referenced concert Behemoth. I regret to have to announce that on October 6, the team will not play in the Club Eskulap. This morning we with the team to play two concerts in the Club “U Bazyla”, when it’s just not to drive fans. But after a closer hearing in suboptimal in the Club we decided that such a solution would suffer too much, the quality of our concert. At this stage of his career afford it we can’t and we sincerely hope that our fans will understand this, and they wait patiently for the chance to meet with the team.
Facts related to reference two (!) concerts are as follows: at the beginning of the Rector of the Medical University, under the wings of which Club Eskulap, disagreed on 2 October, explaining that this date coincides with the start of the academic year and not fitting for these two events coincided in time. After negotiations conducted by CHURCH Events (concert promoter) of the University authorities, the latter agreed to transfer events on 6 October. We got the approval from the President. The concert sold 700 tickets for the event to the police, everything was dopięte the last button and. .. And then just to our promoter went letter, in which-contrary to earlier findings, the Rector refused to make the concert Club. As the reason given “receive social ‘ event, mentioned about the protests and religious environments the interests of the safety of students and staff of the University.
We have no doubt is a political decision. Anyway, I have reached the US unofficial information that fell to levels higher than the seat of the Rector. It’s not the first time when Poznań mouth down on national artists. Loud case zbojkotowania art “Golgotha” picnic “at the Festival of Malta is just one of these examples. Today we become victims of censorship. Because you still need to call it. Poznań, instead of free culture center, begins to resemble more Ekaterinburg in the Urals (one of the many places in Russia, where so far is due to protests by religious fanatics-was cancelled the concert Behemoth). Article 73 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland, which says: “Everyone has the freedom of artistic creation, research and publish the results thereof, freedom to teach, as well as the use of cultural goods”. In our opinion, the appeal of the concert due to the pressure exerted by a handful of fanatical frustratów is nothing like podtarcie to this article, as well as the entire Constitution, shit.
Here are the contact details for the University’s all concerned, who would like to obtain more detailed explanations concerning the decision of the authorities of the University. Perhaps he betray you, whose political pressure for the cancellation of the event.

JUDAS PRIEST vocalist Rob Halford admits he’d like to be able to hit the notes he could 40 years ago, according to Classicrockmagazine.com.
But the Metal God, who recently stated he could still scream his head off, says he’s not holding back on his vocal delivery and that the band are sounding “unbelievable.”
He tells One On One With Mitch Lafon: “I’d like to feel that what I’m trying to do on Redeemer Of Souls are the best examples of my abilities right now. I’m going to places that I can go to – I’m not pulling back in any areas.
“I get frustrated. I freely admit that I wish I could do the stuff I could do when I was laying down tracks in 1974 or 1975, but that’s just ridiculous – I don’t think any singer can requalify those moments again. You go out and do your best.
“We’ve been jamming in the UK, rehearsing the setlist for the band’s North American tour and it sounds unbelievable. The new material, especially, is just roaring out of the band.”
And with 17 albums under their belt, Halford reveals choosing a setlist has to capture the best of Judas Priest’s heritage.
He continues: “There’s the classics Living After Midnight, Breaking The Law and You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’ – these are things that are part of Priest’s heritage. Even though we have this massive back catalogue of songs, if we didn’t come out and play these really important, significant moments of Priest, then I think our fans would be disappointed.
“So this tour is our best attempt to cover a lot of ground again – play the new stuff, play the classics and give everybody a good night out.”
Earlier this month, Halford said he was excited at what’s to come from the band and revealed he’s open to more solo work – but only if it didn’t interfere with his Judas Priest commitments.

Former EVILE lead guitarist OL DRAKE has released the first piece of music from his upcoming debut solo album, featuring mind-bending melodic leads in a style rarely seen today.
The six-string shredder, who is currently on the road working as a guitar tech for German thrash legends DESTRUCTION, is working on an album of extreme instrumental guitar music, which is due to be released in 2015. A demo version of the first track, ‘Spaceship Janitor’, is available now.
OL DRAKE comments:
“Hello, all. After a long, long time of trying to find my direction and sound for this project, I’m starting to churn material out of my brain that I’m starting to enjoy; I need to enjoy the stuff I’m writing. What we have here is a DEMO recording of one of the songs from the upcoming solo album; this is what I send to the label to show progress (this is NOT mixed or mastered). Its working title is ‘Spaceship Janitor’. I didn’t have a title for the song, but every time I listened through for writing directions I couldn’t stop imagining a janitor on a spaceship, mopping the space-floor with his space-mop, listening to this song on his space-iPod… in space.
“This track is not fully representative of the rest of the material on the album as I’m experimenting with a lot of my influences and inspirations; everything from rock and metal to acoustic and classical. Keep an eye on http://www.oldrake.co.uk and my Facebook etc. for more updates on the album! GUITAR ON!”
Listen to ‘Spaceship Janitor’ now:

British avant-garde metallers CODE have begun the tracking of their forthcoming fourth full-length album at Brighton Electric Studios (Gary Moore, Nick Cave, Saxon) in England. “It will be a bold and challenging album that will be sure to test preconceptions again” – comments the band. The album is scheduled to be completed at the end of October and is set for release on Agonia Records in early 2015.
Photos from the studio can be seen here.
With varied musical backgrounds of the band’s members and a will for experimentation, CODE confronts the conventional metal and rock patterns with their own take on extreme music. As put by Metal Injection, the band “blends the grim aggression of black metal and crosses the North Sea back into the world of stylish progressive rock”.
CODE begun life in London in 2002 and went through several transformations, eventually forming a strong and consolidated entity. After Kvohst left to pursue Hexvessel and Vicotnik to continue with Dodheimsgard, band’s mastermind and guitarist Aaort has regrouped and redefined CODE in 2013. This led to the release of the band’s third full-length “Augur Nox” and made it a multifaceted approach: from stunning wide-ranging vocals, otherworldly clean passages and barbed metallic riffery, all filtered through a refined prism of avant-garde black metal.
Apart from “Augur Nox” (2013) band’s discography includes the debut “Nouveau Gloaming” (2005) and nominated for a Spellemann award “Resplendent Grotesque” (2009).
CODE are:
Aort – Guitars
Andras – Guitars
LORDt – Drums
Syhr – Bass
Wacian – Vocals
Upcoming shows:
1/Nov/2014: Damnation Festival, Leeds, England
15/Nov/2014: Brasov, Romania
