EARTH LUX release “Paths Of Infinity”, the second pre-release single from their self-titled debut album out on August 23rd on Metalville Records.
“Paths Of Infinity” is one of the catchiest songs on the album and emphasises the musicians’ above-average songwriting qualities. Catchy hooks are combined with a great chorus to create an absolute highlight of the melodic hard rock genre.
EARTH LUX is a new band formed by French composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist Steph Honde and Brazilian composer and drummer Fred Mika.
Both musicians had previously worked together in the band Sunroad.
In early 2023, Steph and Fred decided to form a parallel band focussing on melodic hard rock, but also incorporating some 70s influences.
Shortly after songwriting began, Fred contacted his German friend, singer, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Michael Voss (Michael Schenker Group, Mad Max, Casanova) to take over the bass guitar for Earth Lux.
And, close to the other musician partnerships, such as the British musician and producer Steve Mann (Eloy, Lionheart and also M.S.G.), who lives in Germany, for keyboards lines recordings, and the last member was completed by the Irish singer Robin McAuley (Grand Prix, Survivor, Black Swan and also M.S.G.).
A short time later, McAuley was suddenly called to rejoin M.S.G. as the definitive singer, replacing Ronnie Romero, who decided to leave the group to pursue a solo career.
Fred contacted another friend, American composer, singer and bassist Mark Boals (Yngwie Malmsteen, Ring Of Fire, Uli Jon Roth) to replace Robin (who had even completed one of the album’s lyrics). So by mid-2023, EARTH LUX was fully formed and hungry for the first album.
The album artwork was created by well-known British designer Tristan Greatrex, who has already worked for Lionheart, MSG, UFO and many other artists.

Italian veteran Hard Rockers DANGER ZONE will release their new album “Shut Up!” via Pride & Joy Music on September 20th, 2024!
The first single for the track “Evil” is now available. Watch the video below.
Danger Zone, one of the most popular, veteran Italian Hard Rock bands, began their musical journey in the early 1980s. After releasing several demos and undergoing numerous line-up changes, they debuted with their EP, “Victim Of Time,” in 1984 and four more studio albums to follow (“Line Of Fire” recorded in 1989 but released in 2011); “Undying” (2012), “Closer To Heaven” (2016) and “Don’t Count On Heroes” (2019).
The pandemic in 2020/21 hindered the band’s ability to fully promote their album, leading to a temporary hiatus. They reconvened in 2022, resuming live performances and writing sessions. During this time, they decided to return to a sound reminiscent of the golden era of American melodic hard rock, characterized by catchy choruses, loud guitars, pounding drums, and dreamy keyboards. This new chapter in their musical journey is encapsulated in their upcoming album, “Shut Up!,” set for release on September 20, 2024, by Pride & Joy Music.
The album’s first single, “Evil,” precedes the release, showcasing the band’s commitment to standing out while staying true to their unique style and was released on July 26th, 2024!
Brazilian horror metal band ALCHEMIA has released a live video of “Ashes”, recorded at the Summer Breeze Open Air Brazil festival, which took place last April at the Memorial da América Latina in São Paulo.

On August 16th, we will be playing at Summer Breeze Germany and we will also be recording the show there. Two Summer Breeze festivals in the same year is memorable for the band and marks a new phase, in which we are expanding our music in Europe,” commented Victor Piiroja, vocalist and founder of the band, who is currently based in Germany.

The highlight of this release is the newly recorded 2024 version of “Lookin’ For Love,” a track originally meant for Curran’s debut album but never recorded until now. Curran, alongside Simon Brierley, Glenn Milchem, and Sean Kelly, revisited Metalworks Studios with Juno Award-winning engineer Vic Florencia to bring this track to life. “Lookin’ For Love” is now available on all streaming platforms.
The album release was about digging into the archives and celebrating the decades of memories that the album created, as part of that, Andy discovered unreleased music, lyric sheets and archival footage that eventually drove him back into the studio to record an unreleased track, Lookin For Love, time back in the studio inspired a mini documentary that shares just a few of the amazing stories this record has to tell.

Reflecting on the reissue, Curran (the founder of Coney Hatch and Envy of None with Rush’s Alex Lifeson), shared, “Working on my solo album decades later was a trip down memory lane. I completely forgot about two songs we recorded during those sessions that weren’t included in the original release, so now they are part of this reissue. This was also my first time producing a record, which was quite the experience! Winning a Juno Award that year was the icing on the cake. It was only ever released in Canada, so I’m excited to shine the spotlight back on this one.”
Steve Harris, bassist for Iron Maiden/British Lion, expressed his admiration for Curran’s solo record, stating, “I’ve been listening to this album for 30 years and it still sounds great!”
The new package includes serial-numbered digital collectables, registered using blockchain technology to ensure unique ownership. SING guarantees fans ownership and artist-authorized proof of authenticity. No knowledge of cryptocurrency is needed —just a love for great music.

In eager anticipation of their forthcoming “We Shall Remain” European headline tour starting on October 3, Swedish symphonic dark metal stalwarts ELEINE have delighted their legion with a new digital 2-track single today: ‘Through The Mist’ (incl. its instrumental version) is now available on all streaming platforms! Listen here: https://eleine.rpm.link/ttmPR
The song opens with punchy riffs and drums, featuring guitarist Rikard Ekberg‘s rarely heard clean vocals, which then transition into his signature growling. Madeleine Liljestam takes over the lead, delivering a highly redeeming chorus that aims to bring hope to those struggling.
“Then we prepare us for the fall”
“Sometimes you know you won’t win a battle. But just because you lost the battle, doesn’t mean you lost the war. ‘Through The Mist’ dives into the moments in the midst of battles, physically or mentally, where you may realize that you won’t win this particular battle. Despite this, you push through for the sake of yourself and those around you, fighting until the very end. ‘United we stand’ is often mentioned from ELEINE for a reason. The bond between us as a band and our fans is strong and it will always be a two-way street where we remind each other to continue to fight side by side. The song contains a part that is directly pointed towards our fans and how proud we are of everyone out there that continues to fight daily,” conclude Madeleine and Rikard.
“As one we try to rise again, raising our faces towards the sun Tasting our blood – I am proud of us all”

Phoenix, Az’s ESCAPE THE HIVE have unleashed their newest – and fourth – video, “I Can See It,” from the debut, This is Gonna Sting, debut album, which can be seen here.
The band has been a bit busy as of late, hitting California and the Midwest for a round of tour dates and teaming up with the popular Facebook group for an autographed poster giveaway.
“We took a little more creative license with the song on the video,” relates ESCAPE THE HIVE frontman, Michael Beck. The song is about seeing the truth and all the things that stand in front of that. But we wanted to take it a little further. So, what’s further out than aliens?!! The last video we did for “Separate Lives” was a bit more serious, so we wanted to do something that made us laugh. Hopefully it makes everyone else laugh as well. That song always goes over really well live. And this last tour through California, Arizona and the Midwest has been no exception. We will be back out on the road this fall and look forward to playing for more fans in more states. Human or alien!”
