We are Big Sun. We only serve ourselves, our order and the big sun.
Mysterious musical sect known as BIG SUN have released their debut album. Drawing an imaginary line between old-school heavy metal, hard rock and pure rock’n’roll, the Tue Madsen-produced “Rite De Passage” holds no barriers regarding good composition and musical tribute to the members’ influences.
Big Sun is a heavy rock force of nature driven by the vision of a tribute to creation. Knife-sharp precision and heaviness make up the Big Sun’s enormous musical powerhouse. The musical lodge creates a melodic expression with sky high ambitions, while staring into the abyss and the animal impulses are given free rein. Big riffs, melodic choruses and virtuosic instrumental passages consistently seek to compliment the vocals and the songs’ messages.
“Rite De Passage” is out now in every digital streaming service, via Mighty Music. Check it out in this link.
The origin of Big Sun goes back to the beginning of the 19th century, and refers to a secret lodge founded by Jean-Baptiste Jules Bernadotte, also known as Karl Johan the 14th of Sweden, who before he ascended the throne of Sweden, was field marshal under Napoleon. After much internal strife, Jean Baptiste and Napoleon were reconciled in 1804, and he swore allegiance to Napoleon’s famous quote: “If I had to choose a religion, the sun as the universal giver of life would be my god”.
After the Swedish coronation, Karl Johan created a secret lodge for Scandinavian and North German nobles, powerful lords and future industrial magnates – Loge du Grand Soleil, which over a number of years held secret meetings in castles and manors throughout Scandinavia. The Lodge sought to be a kind of shadow cabinet and exercise their power on a political, cultural and artistic level. The lodge was ruled with a heavy hand by a Grand Master who was the guardian of the lodge’s secrets and who was given “carte blanche” to protect and spread the message of The Big Sun to the chosen ones.
Big Sun’s members are all direct descendants of the absolute pinnacle of the Loge du Grand Soleil’s heyday, and are now ready to lift the lodge’s vision of a return of the big truth and true art – borne forth in the essence of music – under the new lodge name Big Sun.
“In the beyond, when the sun goes out – music, the invisible thread of the universe, continues in eternity”

NYC rockers PSSR are back with a bang, releasing their latest single, ‘Mystery to Me’, out now on Golden Robot Records. This track marks the first release for PSSR in 2024 and promises to captivate fans with its relentless energy and raw emotional power.
Featuring Frank Ferrer, the legendary drummer from Guns N’ Roses, ‘Mystery to Me‘ is a tale of deception and breakdown, set to a frantic pace that evokes the spirit of Motörhead and the Stooges. The song’s intense lyrics and dynamic instrumentation capture the desperation and chaos of a love gone wrong.
‘Mystery to Me‘ opens with a punch, featuring heavy guitars, banging drums, and an undertone of despair that sets the stage for its story of heartbreak. The track explores the all-too-common narrative of sacrificing everything for a lover, only to be left out in the cold. Through its powerful sound and evocative lyrics, ‘Mystery to Me’ embodies the complex, beautiful, and vile emotions that come with a broken romance.
PSSR continues to push the boundaries of rock music, delivering a sound that is both nostalgic and fresh. ‘Mystery to Me‘ is a testament to the band’s ability to blend classic rock influences with their unique edge, creating a song that resonates with listeners on multiple levels.

About GROZA: GROZA (“storm”, “terror”) is a black metal band from Bavaria, Germany. Their sound is driven by emotion, anger and sadness, combining searing melodies, raging blast beats and melancholy induced clean guitar passages into a melodic, dynamic blend.
Founded as a one-man project by singer / multi-instrumentalist P.G. in 2016, the band gradually grew towards a full band in the following two years, culminating in the self-release of their first effort – “Unified In Void” (2018) – which almost instantly gained attention and interest, leading to the signing to AOP Records shortly after. After 3 years of writing and intense live activity followed the release of the 2nd full length album “The Redemptive End” (2021), that was met with critical acclaim and overwhelming reception of fans alike, entering #78 of the German album charts consequently.
Between releases, the band has extensively presented their craft live on stages all across Europe during various club shows, festivals and full-fledged tours across Europe. To date, GROZA has played 120+ shows in over 20 countries. Continuing to do so in the fall of 2024, the band will again tour Europe in support of the new album.
Derby based blues rockers EDDIE & THE WOLVES have released the much-anticipated music video for ‘The Devil’s Wrong, But Not to Blame,’ the first single from their forthcoming album ‘Tasty Sin.’
‘The Devil’s Wrong, But Not To Blame’ is a song that delves into themes of faith, love, and fear. It challenges listeners to reconsider their motives for unquestioningly serving a deity, especially in a modern world where many are turning away from religion. The song suggests that the only way to maintain religious adherence is through early indoctrination. Highlighting the shared themes and meanings across various world religions, the track poses a provocative question: If the devil is in hell punishing sinners, is he truly bad or wrong?
This new track gives fans and new listeners of the band a taste of the innovative sound and insightful lyrics expected from the group’s sophomore studio album, ‘Tasty Sin’, which is scheduled for release on 6th September 2024 via Revolver Records.
Rooted deeply in the rich tapestry of classic rock, Eddie & The Wolves’ upcoming new album, ‘Tasty Sin,’ pays homage to the greats of rock while daringly venturing into uncharted territories. Blues-infused guitar riffs weave seamlessly with powerful melodies. Husband and wife powerhouse Eddie and Char Saffell’s emotive vocals breathe life into tales of love, rebellion, and adventure, echoing the timeless themes that have always resonated within the heart of rock music.
‘Tasty Sin’ isn’t a nostalgic clone of the past. The album boldly incorporates modern elements that infuse synths, computer and contemporary production techniques to create a fresh and dynamic sound. This fusion of old and new, of raw and refined, makes ‘Tasty Sin’ a compelling listen for both classic rock aficionados and modern rock music enthusiasts alike.
From the lead track to foot-stomping anthems like the album title track ‘Tasty Sin’ and ‘Voodoo’ that demand to be played at full volume, to the intimate ballads like ‘One Night’ and ‘Nothings Gonna Stop Us Now’ that tug at the heartstrings; ‘Tasty Sin’ offers a diverse and captivating musical experience. Eddie and the Wolves are not just students of rock history but innovators ready to carve out their own legacy in the world of music.
The magic of the music lies not just in the songs but also in the story behind the album creation. Eddie and Char crafted this new release allowing the freedom to experiment, refine, and truly find their unique sound without the constraints of a traditional recording studio. Being able to spend time with bassist Joe Griffiths and guitarist Cain Paisley defined their sound and artistic contributions to the new long player.
To capture the energy and dynamism of their live performances, and add the heartbeat for the project Eddie and Char took their recordings to band drummer Ben Gaines’ studio, Godhand Studios, located above Derby’s premier rock venue, The Hairy Dog.
The result is an album that feels both intimate and expansive, a testament to the band’s passion, dedication, and collaborative spirit.
‘Tasty Sin’ is out via Revolver Records 6th September 2024.
