Transylvanian FolkCore Orchestra DIRTY SHIRT had an intense summer this year performing on many major European Festivals, which included France’s Hellfest Open Air, and today they are sharing with fans their full live set from that 45 min set, which includes tunes off their latest album “Get Your Dose Now!” released this past April.
Mihai Tivadar (keyboards, guitars, main composer) adds:
“As I live in France and I already participated as a spectator in 2019, playing at Hellfest was a dream coming true. Even if the wait was long (since we were confirmed for 2021) and the stress enormous (partially due to the technical problems of the monitor system at the start of the show), being on the Hellfest stage will remain an unforgettable life experience. It was an enormous pleasure to see the Temple filled to capacity, even before going on stage, and still a few thousand people in front of the tent, watching the show on screens. Now I hope to have the chance to return perhaps one day to this exceptional festival, but until then, I am impatient to meet the French public at our next show in France, in December this year and in March 2023.”
Dirty Shirt will also be hitting the road in November, December, and March for tour dates in France, Poland, and Romania (dates listed below).
Dirty Shirt‘s sixth album “Get Your Dose Now!” is a shorter nine-track album, with a little more than 30 minutes, but Dirty Shirt maintains that the listening experience will be very intense, as they combine many influences, and the songs change constantly with complex orchestrations. It was produced by Mihai Tivadar, mixed and mastered by Adrian Bila Uritescu and the album artwork was done by Lia Cucuianu.
Dirty Shirt brings a truly unique live experience, huge energy, huge emotions, and fun, with a scaling lineup based on the performance, which adds a lot of authenticity and a great live sound. The band will continue their European tour in support of “Get Your Dose Now!” with shows in Romania, France, Belgium, and Poland (dates to be announced soon).
Recommended for anyone looking for something interesting and lively, Dirty Shirt is for fans of Twelve Foot Ninja, Dubioza Kolektiv, and Eluveitie.

U.K. post punk band NAUT are proud to announce the arrival of their Season of Mist’s debut album ‘Hunt’. Over the long months of restrictions and lockdowns NAUT crafted the demos for their debut album, making the most of the dormant state of the music world, something special was being fashioned.
The album is set for worldwide release on 24th of February 2023! Next week the band will reveal it’s first single on Season of Mist.
Together with the release of the title, the band also reveals the cover artwork and tracklist ahead of the official annoucement. A full list can be found below.
In celebration of this news, NAUT has announced a London live appearance @The Dev this weekend 18th of November 2022.

NAUT are a four piece drum machine rock band from Bristol, whose shared love of classic rock and metal, alongside reverence for the post-punk pioneers of the late 70s and early 80s makes itself known from the start. Triumphant synths and scything guitars entwine with danceable beats, while driving bass-lines, moving to pounding drums, create a dynamic and shifting rhythm section. The tracks pulse with a raw post-punk energy but always remain danceable and (perhaps most dangerously) catchy. The lyrics touch on mental paralysis, impending doom and divided peoples, and with the path our world is currently on they have become more relevant than ever.
Starting out as an evening sharing riffs in a flat in Bristol, the first tracks for NAUT had their genesis in 2016. Those first riffs, written by Gavin (vocals) & Jack (guitars) grew to become something much more compelling and after that initial moment, the idea of a band was born. Gathering musicians from Bristol’s small but active post-punk scene and armed with rough recordings, NAUT started working on the tracks as a full band in June 2017.
It all rapidly fell into place. NAUT’s first show was in September 2017 followed by two shows supporting Grave Pleasures before the year was out, and they entered the studio the following November. Raise the Lights – their debut EP was recorded at RS Studios in Bristol by Jamie Elton (Moss, Amulet, Spite) and was mastered by Orgone Studios (Ulver, Grave Pleasures, Ghost). The final mastered tracks were ready in March 2018 and plans were put in motion for a June release of a debut EP that made people take notice. The intention was to break out into the world and NAUT did just that, with coverage in Kerrang! Magazine as well as a host of smaller blogs, publications and radio.
2018 saw more live shows with Abysmal Grief and David Eugene Edwards & Alexander Hacke as well as a sell out show in Bristol, and the start of some new material.
Not content to sit still, NAUT were soon ready to enter the studio again with new tracks written at the end of 2018, initially planned as a double A single, but growing into a 3 track EP. The song writing was rooted firmly in the foundations laid by Raise the Lights, but also broke new ground. With a solo in the title track Semele provided by Henrik Palm (Henrik Palm, ex-In Solitude, ex-Ghost) and the same winning combination of recording with Jamie Elton and Orgone Studios taking care of mastering duties the tracks were finished by April 2019.
The ‘Semele’ EP was released in November 2019 and was well-received. Featured in multiple high profile websites such as Louder, Vive le Rock, Distorted Sound and more, the EP helped establish NAUT on the scene as a band to watch.
Alongside this, NAUT played several more shows, including supporting post-punk legends Pink Turns Blue and playing the warmup show for Incineration Festival in London alongside Idle Hands.
‘Threads’ and ‘Hand in Hand’ were recorded in late 2019, building on the spirit of experimentation in the ‘Semele’ EP whilst calling on elements from Raise the Lights, creating a tantalising mix of the two. The songs were once again recorded by Jamie Elton with mastering handled by Orgone Studios.
During this time NAUT remained an active presence in the UK live scene, sharing the stage with bands as diverse as their fan base, from Discharge to Orange Goblin.
The end of 2019 also saw a change in NAUT’s format, with the departure of their drummer. NAUT had started life as a drum machine project before the addition of Kenny Selway for the debut EP, and after a string of changes, the obvious choice was to return to that format. This opened up new avenues for musical exploration, on and off stage.
With the spectre of a global pandemic looming large, in March 2020 NAUT played their last live appearance of that year in a sold out St Pancras Church in London with King Dude.
With that the world of live music went silent.
However NAUT remained active below the surface, ‘Threads’ and ‘Hand in Hand’ were released as a double A side 7” in June 2020. With this release NAUT further gained the attention of fans from across the spectrum of dark music. Word spread further around the scene adding fans to the ever growing following, with Hand in Hand featured in Kerrang! Magazine’s Kerrang! Rock Chart and a number of other high profile goth and post-punk playlists and the music video, creatively produced under the restrictions of a strict lockdown, garnering a strong reception.
Not content with releasing these new songs, work on a debut album was also underway. Over the long months of restrictions and lockdowns NAUT crafted the demos for their debut album, making the most of the dormant state of the music world, something special was being fashioned. The turmoil of 2020 also opened other opportunities and NAUT struck a partnership with Doomstar booking agency, ready for whenever the venues open.
Now NAUT are excited to have signed with Seasons of Mist for the release of their debut album. The label has come to represent all shades of musical darkness and feels like a strong pairing for NAUT, as although the band are less extreme in their musical approach, dark music in all its facets underlies all that they do.
NAUT can’t wait to share this upcoming slab of infectious and pulsing drum machine rock with you all.

Italian doom/sludge stalwarts GRIEFBRINGER will be releasing their debut album, “The Horrible Wilting”, on November 18th 2022 via Church of Crow Records.
Invisible Oranges is hosting an exclusive premiere of the album. Stream it HERE.
GRIEFBRINGER is a doom/sludge monster ready to roar: if you like to drown in grieving sounds made by huge distorted walls and bleeding ballads, this is for you.
“We’re all from the gloomy and dark side of the Italian scene, with 30 years of international experience in bands such as MONUMENTUM, HAUNTED, SCHIZO, HELL OBELISCO, just to name a few. Collaboration with the previous projects convinced us to get together and explore the depth of the soul in this new creature. Darkness and godliness of places and images are our most important source of inspiration.` After years of recording and mixing and mastering and sacrificial offers to the gods of dusk we’re ready to finally unleash ‘The Horrible Wilting’. The beast has been mastered by the Grammy winner Giovanni Versari at La Maestà studio, plus reamp by Marco Mastrobuono at Kick Recording Studio and recording, mixing and wisdom by Marco Paradisi at Boat Studio. 8 fresh new songs, 8 chances to freak out. Enjoy”.

One month on from the devastating impact of Hurricane Ian, and with the recent landfall of Hurricane Nicole, Aerosmith teams up with the Red Cross to provide long-lasting support by sponsoring two Community Emergency Vehicles to be based in Central Florida
Every day, the American Red Cross helps people facing emergencies of all sizes; when major storms like Hurricane Ian and Hurricane Nicole impact a large area of the U.S., they mobilize volunteers and supplies for preparedness and recovery operations; when a family is devastated by a home fire, they provide shelter, food and more. But before any of this can happen, their volunteers must get to where they’re needed. To do this, the Red Cross depends on a large fleet of community emergency vehicles — sedans, vans and trucks — that are vital to fulfilling their mission every day.
As part of an effort to assist disaster relief and beyond, Aerosmith has donated two Community Emergency Vehicles to the Red Cross of Central Florida. The two 2023 Chevrolet Silverado trucks are in production and will be delivered in the spring of 2023. In recognition of this generous support, the vehicles will feature the band’s signature Walk This Way logo.
“Aerosmith and I were devastated by the disastrous impact of Hurricane Ian. Too often we are seeing these disasters increase in frequency and intensity due to climate change, having a strong Red Cross is more critical than ever before,” said band member and resident of Sarasota, Florida, Joe Perry. “We’re proud to support the Red Cross and we know these vehicles will be an important tool helping people in need for years to come.”
“During a local disaster, Red Cross community emergency response vehicles are among the first on the scene, driven by compassionate volunteers who provide emergency relief and emotional support,” said Eric Corliss, Regional CEO, American Red Cross of Central Florida and the U.S. Virgin Islands. “Every day, the Red Cross is at work across Central Florida helping individuals and communities prepare for disasters and other emergencies. These two new vehicles will be essential to fulfilling that part of our mission.”
Over a month after Hurricane Ian devastated large areas of Florida and with the wake of Hurricane Nicole still being assessed, hundreds of people remain in shelters and thousands more are depending on the American Red Cross for support.
Dozens of Red Cross emergency vehicles are delivering hot meals to families in the hardest hit areas. Red Cross emergency shelters and aid stations remain open, and specially trained volunteers are meeting with residents to help plan their next steps.
“My family has a small place in the area that was hit hardest by Ian. We’ve been going there every year for almost thirty years. Our house was severely damaged and our hearts as well,” shared Tom Hamilton. “We know others were affected even more so I’m very grateful to be able to make a contribution towards helping people get their lives back to normal. We made it through Charlie, we’ll make it through this one!”
Since Ian first threatened Florida, more than 3,000 Red Crossers have supported relief efforts, and, with the help of our partners, provided more than 1.7 million meals and snacks, and some 404,000 relief items like cleaning supplies and comfort kits.

Veteran hard rockers BoyHitsCar return with a brand new song/video, “Injustice Fatigue,” which serves as a taste of what’s to come from their forthcoming full-length, Waves of Sound Across Oceans of Time (which will be issued via DarkStar/Sony records some time in 2023): https://orcd.co/injusticefatigue
The “Injustice Fatigue” single/video (directed by Pearry Reginald Teo) will arrive on most digital platforms, along with a YouTube music video premiere:
Comprised of members Cregg Rondell (vocals, twelve string guitar), Mike Bartak (guitar), Bill Gower (bass guitar), and Erik Peterson (drums), the band had the following to say about their new single/video:
“‘Injustice Fatigue’ captures the authentic spirit of BoyHitsCar, while injecting a new sonic energy with lyrical focus on modern times, for many citizens of Mother Earth have experienced some type of injustice; both individually and collectively. Yet still, most of us maintain a level of love & compassion, in our hearts…
BoyHitsCar was formed in 1993, with the idea to write melodic-heavy music that would translate well into a high energy live show. Their brand of music has been dubbed “LoveCore” – connecting people around the world in a positive way through the heavy, uplifting tones and messages found in the BHC sound.
And seeing the band live adds a whole other dimension to their sound. “The energy between Boy Hits Car live & their fans (the LoveCore Alliance) is a unique experience. One must see and hear it to believe it,” says the band.
AllMusic described BoyHitsCar as having an “aggressive rock sound,” the Rough Edge site said, “BoyHitsCar offers a funky, hippy take on life, nurturing a respect toward nature as well as a serious demeanor towards life and their music,” while Kerrang added they offer “the sickest, loveliest, ugliest, prettiest, most beautiful, melodic, heartfelt music.”
Lastly, the quartet are already looking forward to the future. Upon the release of the upcoming 7th studio album, Waves of Sound Across Oceans of Time…Boy Hits Car will be planning US and European tour dates. Stay tuned for details on the album release and more!
