WarlocK A.D. ‘s Sophomore album “Book II: The Valley of Vâgené” is to be released on next 27th September! Over two years in the making, this entry into the WarlocK A.D. saga is bigger, thicker and more powerful than anything they have brought you before! PRE-ORDER THE ALBUM –lnk.to/iQEIox
Set directly after the events of “Book I: The Reserrection”, the album begins with Whiteacre The Mighty Warlock stranded in A Strange New World – powerless and alone. Though with the help of the Elven Prince Quinn Eilianther, Horatus the Mushroom Wizard and Ahriman Cullblade the Shadow assassin, Whiteacre the Nomad begins the long quest to The Valley of Vâgené – said to be the home of a gateway to the vast infinite multiverse. Danger awaits the brave heroes however, for Brittanni is ruled by the tyrannical Dwarf Emperor Thorumm III who seeks The Valley for his own nefarious purposes. The prophesised coming of a stranger to the land of Brittanni has awakened the gateway – and the race to multiverse has begun…
The album is 12 tracks of interwoven musical storytelling implementing the use of motifs, themes and callbacks. From the sweeping orchestral movements of “The Golden Showers of Prestønia” to the frantic folk metal flavorings of “Rothgar Warsong”, the album combines the sound and styles of various iterations of orchestra led melodic metal – culminating in what feels like a fully fledged D&D style epic told through the medium of a Heavy Metal Musical.
The land of Brittanni holds many secrets, and not everything is as it seems…
The quest to The Valley of Vâgené continues with the third single called “Ancient Dragon of Storms Flüffir Mighty Guardian of Valley (Techno Wyrmhole)” inspired by the more synth-laden works of Angus McSix, Beast in Black and Gloryhammer…is coming today 30th August on all digital platform!!
The band describe the song “Ancient Dragon of Storms Flüffir Mighty Guardian of Valley (Techno Wyrmhole)”: “Enter the Caverns of Nave at your peril…for you risk awakening the Ancient Dragon of Storms Flüffir – Mighty Guardian of The Valley of Vâgené!
Separated from his brothers following an intense battle with Bôl-Saïx the Decimator, Whiteacre finds himself powerless and stranded as a Nomad in a strange new world… in the Land of Brittanni…
With the help of Quinn Eilianther the Elven Prince of Sherwood, Horatus the Mushroom Wizard and Ahriman Cullblade the Shadow Assassin, Whiteacre the Nomad makes for a gateway to the multiverse…
The Valley of Vâgené
But perils await the party – The greatest of them all being the Mighty Dwarf Empire of Lochnagar, Led by the Evil Emperor Thorumm III…
The fate of Brittanni – nay, the entire multiverse – rests in these heroes’ hands…
“Onward we ride…”

Juliet’s Not Dead have released their new high energy rocker, ‘Thrillseekers‘, the first track from upcoming album which is set for release early 2025.
Stevie states: “It feels so good to release Thrillseekers. It sets the tone for where we want to take this album. As it’s the start of a new era for us as a band, we approached this album with a view to accentuate everything we are about. This is the song to set things off with a bang!”
Durham’s Twister have formally announced a name change to Juliet’s Not Dead, and head out on a UK tour this Autumn under their new moniker, which will see them include their first new music since their 2022 EP ‘Only The Strong Survive’.
Main man Stevie Stoker said of the name change, “This is probably the biggest decision we’ve ever made as a band, having gone under the Twister banner for so long. But following the completion of our new album with Romesh (Dodangoda, as producer) it just felt time to evolve, to kick it up, to create a brand that better represents our sound. It was hard to take the plunge but now it’s done it feels great. We love our new name and I now need another tattoo!” He added, “We will still be playing Twister songs, they are now just Juliet’s Not Dead songs and when coupled with the new material folks will see that growth and natural progression. These are exciting times for us, not that we were jaded or treading water but the new material sounds fresh and takes us to another level. Now we get to show our fans and hopefully gain some new ones too. We’ve spent so long perfecting this show and now we absolutely can’t wait to get out there and play for everyone.”
The run of dates will take the band up and down the country and will include new music taken from their 2nd studio album, slated for release early February 2025.
On the upcoming album, Stevie says: “I love this album, not only do I think it’s the best music we’ve ever written, but it was also the most enjoyable writing and recording process I’ve ever been a part of. Me and Jack wrote for most of 2023. We were even recording demos while on tour round Europe. We started by having the right production team and approaching it with a clear view of what we wanted the final result to be. Romesh and the boys at Longwave made our job easy and we literally smiled and laughed our way through it.”
October Fri 04 – Nightrain, Bradford Fri 11 – The Giffard Arms, Wolverhampton Sun 20 – The Waterloo, Blackpool Sat 26 – The Victoria, Swindon Sun 27 – Cobblestones, Bridgwater November Fri 01 – The Patriot, Crumlin Sat 09 – The Sea Angling Club, Stornoway Sun 17 – Cart & Horses, London Fri 22 – Corporation, Sheffield Sun 24 – Audio, Glasgow Sat 30 – Riverside, Newcastle More shows to be added
Heralding from the North East, Juliet’s Not Dead are an adrenaline fuelled, driven band with the sole intention of thrilling their audiences at every show. Having just finished recording the follow up to the highly acclaimed debut album ready for release in February 2025, and if their latest EP ‘Only The Strong Survive’ is anything to go by; attitude filled riffs and a killer modern edge will be abundant.
The band have paired with mercury prize & Grammy nominated producer Romesh Dodangoda to set about crafting something special. Since the release tour for single ‘Don’t Play Nice’ in April 2022, JND have been crushing live performances with a truly unique visual show built in to a wall of Marshall cabs.
Just one way the JND boys have put a unique twist to a traditional staple of a rock show. After raising over £6k for music charities during the pandemic the boys took crowds by storm on two self-promoted UK headline tours in 2022, selling over 2000 tickets in the process. With single “secrets” getting to #1 in the iTunes rock charts as well as being track of the week on Planet Rock & also had significant air time on BBC, following similar success with previous releases, their stock is rising rapidly. As well as 2 UK support tours and countless festivals, 2023 saw the band tour all over Europe and play in a total of 11 countries, and they can’t wait for what is to come next!

Rockshots Records and Lay Of The Autumn is excited to announce the release of their second single, “Flowing Tears” from their highly anticipated album “Of Love And Sorrow” out next 25 October 2024.
Lay Of The Autumn is a new Symphonic Power Metal band led by Davide Scuteri (Ravenword, Choirs Of Veritas) featuring Iryna Boyarkina (ERIA, Mysterya), Michele Olmi (Chronosfear, Embrace Of Souls), Cesare Ferrari and Davide Lovecchio. Their debut album, featuring 10 emotionally charged tracks, merges the intensity of Power Metal with the grandeur of Symphonic Metal creating a deeply evocative listening experience.
Following the release of the instrumental track “Si Sta Come D’Autunno Sugli Alberi le Foglie” (mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni at Domination Studio) on last April 12, 2024, along with its music video, “Flowing Tears” serves as a compelling introduction to the album. From its melancholic piano notes, the song immediately draws listeners into the emotional core of Lay Of The Autumn. The lyrics explore themes of abandonment and heartache, comparing these feelings to a stormy sky pouring down rain.
Each track on the album has been meticulously crafted to deliver an epic and melodic experience reminiscent of the golden era of bands like Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius and Nightwish. With influences spanning Power Metal, Symphonic Metal, Melodic Death Metal and cinematic Soundtracks, the album offers a rich and diverse sonic landscape, highlighted by fast keyboard and guitar solos, catchy choruses and stunning melodies.
“Flowing Tears” is a standout piece that encapsulates the full spectrum of the band’s sound, blending sorrow with beauty in a way that is uniquely Lay Of The Autumn.
The album, mixed and mastered by Ettore Rigotti (Disarmonia Mundi) at Ettore Rigotti Studios, ensures a flawless sound that captures the melancholic and powerful essence of the band. Lay Of The Autumn offers a fresh yet familiar energy for fans of Symphonic and Power Metal, making this album a must-listen for anyone who values music that resonates deeply with the soul and stirs profound emotions.

GOD DETHRONED, one of the most respected Dutch extreme metal acts, will unleash their new studio album next Friday, on September 6, 2024, via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM).
The band has just released the final single ‘The Hanged Man.’ Leading down the final steps towards the sonic abyss that is “The Judas Paradox,” the track immediately suffocates listeners with crushing double-bass drumming and bass – without losing its melodic sense in the form of scheming lead guitars though! Judas Iscariot, the main inspiration behind the album title, once again lurks around in the lyrics, rounding off yet another striking song out of the band’s hellish forge.
“A song which lyrics are based on the ‘The Hanged Man’ tarot card. Lyrically very simple yet extremely catchy. The reason I decided to use tarot cards as a basis to write lyrics is because I like them and their meanings and it gave me the opportunity to write a different type of lyrics that I hadn’t used before. The tarot card of ‘The Hanged Man’ is about sacrifice. Musically it’s a groovy death metal banger with a middle part that shows Dave Meester’s skills as a virtuoso on lead guitar. Especially in this song you get the feeling that the death metal version of Dave Murray is present in his utmost glory,” states frontman Henri “The Serpent King” Sattler.
