MAYAN: Release Track-By-Track Trailer (Part 1)

German death metallers MAYAN are going to release their upcoming album, “Antagonise” n January 31st 2014 through Nuclear. The band have now put up the first track-by-track video, which is available to watch below:

MAYANFurthermore four members of the band – guitarist & vocalist Mark Jansen, vocalist Laura Macri, guitarist Frank Schiphorst, and keyboard player Jack Driessen – will be guests in a live video web chat tomorrow on the Nuclear Blast Streaming Room!

“Antagonise” was recorded at Sandlane Studio with producer Joost van den Broek (REVAMP, STREAM OF PASSION). Guests on the album include: Floor Jansen (NIGHTWISH, REVAMP), Marcela Bovio (STREAM OF PASSION), and Greek virtuoso violinist Dimitris Katsoulis.

This will be the band’s first North American tour in support of their new album, »The Satanist«. Joining BEHEMOTH on this tour will be Metal Blade label mates, GOATWHORE, along with additional support from 1349, INQUISITION, and BLACK CROWN INITIATE. The Metal Alliance tour will begin April 4th in Tempe, AZ and runs through May 3rd.

DARK TRANQUILLITY: Announce New Single “A Memory Construct”

According to Century Media, on the upcoming North American tour DARK TRANQUILLITY will be selling a 7inch Single entitled “A Memory Construct”, which also will be released digitally on March 3rd in Europe. Recorded during the “Construct” sessions, the 7inch contains the following two songs and it’s limited to 500 copies worldwide and it’s on a transparent red wax! Previously unreleased “A Memory Construct” and “Sorrows Architect”, previously only available as a limited flexi 7″ released with issue #106 of Decibel Magazine.

The band comments on “A Memory Construct” Single: “This was originally written (as the name implies) as the title track for the “Construct” album, but was later deemed too different to be included without interrupting the flow of the main record. And “Sorrow’s Architect” is probably our darkest song in a while; a brooding track that gradually builds up to a climatic ending.”

SONATA ARCTICA: Unveiled Th Tracklist Of “Pariah’s Child”

Metallers SONATA ARCTICA are going to release their upcoming and eighth studio album, “Pariah’s Child,” on March, 28th 2014. The album was recorded and produced by the band at “Studio 57” in Alaveteli, Finland. The mix was done by the band’s new bass player Kauppinen. The band have recently unveiled the artwork for the album and now they release the tracklist of “Pariah’s Child” which can be seen below:

We went on to create the next SONATA ARCTICA power metalesque album and I think we achieved it adequately. I have to say that I had drifted pretty far away from those “days of thunder”, that speedy happy go lucky attitude. I was happy to notice this style can still make me smile. It’s good. Music has to do that to me. It also shows the other older songs in a totally new light for me. I can now understand and appreciate why the fans enjoy what we did in the early days.”

IN THIS MOMENT has recently posted a video for ‘Beautiful Tragedy’ from their upcoming “Blood at the Orpheum” DVD. The video can be seen below:

According to Century Media, two formats will be available of “Blood at the Orpheum” in Europe, Australia and New Zealand on February 17th, 2014: A standalone DVD featuring a full 100-minute concert shot in Madison, WI, in May 2013, including behind the scenes footage and interviews as well as digitally in an audio-only format. Multiple packages are available in North America as of January 21st.
