British heavy metal icons JUDAS PRIEST have recently unveiled the new track ‘Dragonaut’, taken from the band’s upcoming album “Redeemer of Souls”. The song is premiered exclusively on rollingstone.com. The video can be seen below:
“Redeemer of Souls” will be the band’s 17th studio album and their first record in six years. The album is set to be released on July 8 2014.
Also, the band has confirmed that the night before the release of ‘Redeemer of Souls,’ Glenn Tipton, Rob Halford, and Richie Faulkner will appear on the Rockline radio program. Joining host Bob Coburn on Monday July 7, 2014 at 8:30 PT / 11:30 ET, fans are encouraged to speak with Judas Priest at 1-800-344-ROCK (7625). Jersey Thrash legends OVERKILL have been hard at work preparing for the release of their seventeenth LP, “White Devil Armory”. Two weeks ago the band shot two videos with esteemed director Kevin J. Custer.
“Fantastic to have Kevin on board again, when he’s directing the direction is intense!” says frontman Bobby “Blitz” Ellsworth. This is the fourth video Custer has directed for the band. Blitz continues, “each time the prior results have been spot on, so our confidence is high for this shoot. From the directors eye to yours/ours, should be a killer!”
“White Devil Armory” will be out on July 18, 2014 via Nuclear Blast. The effort was tracked at Gear Recording and mixed by Greg Reely, who also worked on 2012’s “The Electric Age”.

Legendary Teutonic heavy mettalers ACCEPT have recently confirmed as the headliner act of “A NIGHT TO REMEMBER” At Wacken Open Air Festival ‘s 25th Anniversary on JULY 31st 2014.
W.O.P. organisers have posted the following statement:
” Today we proudly present to you: Accept. After 10 years of absence the band from Germany returns to the Holy Wacken Ground.
Founded in 1971 Accept are pioneers in terms of metal music and have gained cult status by now.
The band will be playing their special Restless and Wild / Best Of set. Restless and Wild was their fourth studio album which has had a great impact on the world of metal not only because Fast as a Shark is considered to be the very first speed metal song at all. We are thrilled to see them play their epic show. This will definitely be a night to remember!
We are going to celebrate our anniversary as promised with bands from all the different stages of the festival history. As always it is our goal to bring you a good mixture of old metal veterans and some fresh blood. We think this will make the perfect Line-up for a 25th Anniversary!
We are very happy to have such bands as 5th Avenue, Axe ‘n Sex, Sacred Season or Skyline in our Line-up because they performed at the very first Wacken Open Air and there for laid the foundation of the festival itself.

Our Swedish heavy metal brothers WOLF will release their upcoming and seventh studio album, “Devil Seed”, on August 25th in Europe and on September 2nd in North America via Century Media Records.
This time around, the wolves have teamed up with Jens Bogren (Kreator, Paradise Lost, Opeth) over at Fascination Street Studios and have delivered not only a heavy sounding release but also one chock full of clarity and complexity. With cover artwork being created once again by legendary designer Thomas Holm (Mercyful Fate, King Diamond), all the elements are aligned for this fierce slab of pure Heavy Metal mayhem.
Simon Johansson (guitars) comments: “WOLF is back and once again we have worked with the amazing Thomas Holm (Mercyful Fate / King Diamond) for the album art. Thomas has a way of catching the feeling of an album and to put colors to our music. This time Niklas Stålvind also contributed to some drawings found in the booklet and the collaboration between the two of them turned out great. Devil Seed starts as an embryo and when you least aspect it you find yourself dancing with the Devil.”
