French doom metal powerhouse DEEP SPACE MASK is set to release their third album “Burn In Hell” on May 15th. The band has released the first single for the title track.
Mastermind Raymz comments on the first single: “‘Burn In Hell‘ is a perfect track to open an album. It’s fast, short, very memorable, catchy. It has an 80s Metal feeling, full of energy, almost punk, raw attitude, raw production, No big technique, just speed Rock’n’Roll. This song has only one mission, to make you want to headbang, the lyrics are obviously ironic.”

Finnish industrial metal maniacs KING SATAN have released a brand new live video for the track “The Carnivalesque of Dark and Light” (feat. Chris Eggvn). The track is taken from the band’s latest album, titled “The Devil’s Evangelion”, which was released in November 2024 via Noble Demon.
Frontman and mastermind KING ALEISTER SATAN comments: “’The Carnivalesque of Dark and Light’ is probably the most energetic and absurdistic song of our new album, and it became immediately regular part of our live set lists just because of this. It really makes no sense but for some reason it seems to work with audience very well like it somehow does. And because of this, we filmed the song in every show of our European tour in January 2025 and here you can see a compilation of all the best moments we had with during that tour in the form of music video. Eternity is now!”
Since their formation in late 2015, KING SATAN has consistently pushed the boundaries of extreme music. Blending elements of electro-industrial, symphonic black metal, death metal, and rock ‘n’ roll, and the band’s chaotic and theatrical sound has garnered a dedicated fanbase.
Led by the enigmatic Mr. King Aleister Satan, KING SATAN‘s music brings forth an anarchistic blend of carnivalesque artistry, absurdist dark comedy, occult intrigue, and in-depth philosophical ponderings, served in an intoxicating blend of rocking dance beats, thought-provoking lyrics, mesmerizing melodies, and addictive hooks the band themselves have titled as ‘death metal disco’. A fusion fit for both dance floors and mosh pits. With all these elements, the band defies conventions and embraces controversy the way which should not really make much sense on paper – and yet, it has consistently helped to create more and more buzz for the band wherever they go.
“The Devil’s Evangelion and the Law of Chaos” is a compilation of all published lyrics written for KING SATAN between 2015 and 2024 by its bandleader, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist, Seth Aleisterde King Satan. This opus is acompanied by selected lyrics and related interview excerpts from his longest-running band, Saturnian Mist (est.2006), to offer a holistic outlook on the artist’s unorthodox and trickster-like vision of Satanism, Occultism, Mysticism and Spiritual Anarchy.

As we await the long-anticipated CD release of NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE’s critically acclaimed debut album, Brief Is The Light, on May 30th, 2025,the French gothic doom metal ensemble reignites the shadows with a haunting re-release of their lyric video for “A Voice in the Dark.” This mesmerizing music video is a journey through life, death, and the yearning to return.
“A Voice in the Dark” is a melancholic yet powerful exploration of the fragile line between existence and oblivion. With ethereal melodies, crushing riffs, and haunting vocals, Near Death Experience creates a captivating narrative of love, loss, and the desperate desire to escape the shadows: “The waves crash, the sand shifts beneath weary feet—will they find their way back, or remain lost in the dark forever?”
Originally a solo instrumental project by Mathieu Bonfardin (drums) during the COVID-19 pandemic in May 2020, Near Death Experience (NDE) was fully formed as a band in Nantes, France, in May 2022. NDE blends gothic, melancholic doom metal with clean, lyrical female vocals. Influenced by bands like Paradise Lost, The Gathering, Draconian, Katatonia, Black Sabbath, Moonspell, and Metallica, NDE explores the dark and compelling theme of near-death experiences.
Their LP, Brief Is The Light, is a concept album telling the story of a woman, a victim of domestic violence, now in a coma and experiencing near-death visions. As she recalls her past life, she yearns to return to reality, despite the suffering and uncertainty.
Will you press ‘play’ and journey with her? Don’t worry—the light will shine at the end.

Alt-prog band THE VALLEY, a young and talented group from Liguria, Italy, release today their brand-new single ‘Hypnagogia’, now available on all major digital platforms via Volcano Records & Promotion.
With a sound that merges modern progressive influences with intense and evocative atmospheres, Hypnagogia is a deep and poetic reflection on that suspended moment between sleep and wakefulness, where dreams and reality blend. The track highlights the band’s ability to alternate engaging melodic passages with heavier, more unsettling sections, always maintaining a strong emotional and creative tension at the core.
“Hypnagogia is the isthmus in the mind that separates sleep from wakefulness, where everything is so vivid it might be real—or you might wake up and find yourself back in reality. Some believe that this very moment is the birthplace of creation, the true face of inspiration,” explain The Valley. Taking inspiration from bands like Tool, Porcupine Tree, and Katatonia, The Valley offer a personal vision of alternative progressive rock, avoiding clichés and impressing with intensity and originality.
The single is accompanied by a suggestive and elegant lyric video, now available on YouTube:
