Soundsrock Agency is thrilled to announce the signing of REVOLTONS.

Revoltons were founded in 1991 by cousins Andrea (keyboards), Alex (guitars), and Pietro (drums). Initially a hard rock cover band, they began writing original material in 1997, releasing a few demos with Gianni Rui on vocals. Shortly afterward, Rui left the band, and tragically, drummer Pietro passed away from a heart attack at the age of 26.

In the summer of 2002, with Alessandro Carli joining on bass and still without a permanent vocalist, the band recorded instrumental versions of Night Visions at New Sin Studios (Labyrinth, Eldritch), produced by Luigi Stefanini, later recruiting vocalist Andro.

In February 2003, they signed with Limb Music Products, releasing Night Visions, their first and only album with the label. In 2007, the second album Lost Remembrance followed.

In 2009, the band released Underwater Bells with a new lineup: Matt Corona (guitars), Roberto Sarcina (bass), and Stefano Rumich (drums), alongside Alex and Andro. In 2010, Revoltons toured extensively across Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Croatia.

After this peak period, personal conflicts led to the band’s temporary disbandment, spawning two side projects: Endangered Pirates from Outer Space and Roxin’ Palace.

In 2012, Alex and Andro revived Revoltons, revisiting older unreleased songs and composing new material, resulting in the fourth album 386 High Street North: Come Back to Eternity!. During this period, Elvis Ortolan, former drummer of Elvenking, joined the band.

In 2017, recording began for the fifth album, Underwater Bells Pt. 2: October 9th 1963, a concept album primarily written by Alex over the years, inspired by the Vajont Tragedy. Among the guests was Blaze Bayley, former Iron Maiden vocalist.

In 2018, the band embarked on the The East Reloaded Tour, performing in clubs across Croatia, Hungary, and Romania. After the tour, Andro left the band permanently, and Alex completed the new album with vocalist Andras Csaszar, released in 2020 via Sleaszy Rider Records. At the same time, Simone “Zimon” Sut joined as bassist.

Despite the global pandemic, the band continued writing new material and resumed live performances in 2022, appearing at major summer festivals including Summer Metal and Masters of Rock (Czech Republic). During this period, Carlo Venuti (guitar) and Antonio Boscari (vocals) joined the lineup.

In 2023, Celestial Violence was released, inspired by the lockdown period and reflecting the chaos experienced globally over the past three years.

Following subsequent departures of Simone Sut and Antonio Boscari, Alex, Elvis, and Carlo decided to continue the band, welcoming back long-time bassist Alessandro Carli and recruiting Victor (ex Hell Theater) on vocals.

The chemistry was immediate, leading to the creation of the seventh album,Seventh Act of a Death Foretold, set to be released by ELEVATE RECORDS in summer 2026

Goliath wastes no time proving as massive as its name, with a sinister introduction opening “3111”. Ode to owning one’s own volatility “Hostis Humani Generis” features a palpable lyrical delivery from Rob Dukes that cuts like crystal amid frenetic riffs, before rolling into “The Changing Me”. The track’s introductory notes cascade into hair-raising rhythms, forming one of the band’s most anthemic offerings – blending menace and melody with the cleans of guest Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain) together with Tom Hunting and at the end both Peter and Robb scream off the song. Harmonic dual axe acrobatics from resident guitar legends Gary Holt and Lee Altus. “Promise You This” incites mosh pit treachery with explosive energy, cyclonic riffs and turbocharged soloing from Holt and Altus. Tracks like “Beyond The Event Horizon” and “2 Minutes Hate” provide EXODUS’ trademark deadly dose of thrash theatricality – the latter boasting one of the album’s most grimacing, grooving pit primers – while undeniably 90s-tinged metallic charm attacks alongside drummer Tom Hunting and bassist Jack Gibson’s unmistakable rhythmic rage on tracks like “Violence Works”. Japanese power metal quintet LOVEBITES are setting sail for new horizons by signing with Austrian metal label Napalm Records! In this new partnership, they are sharing their new album, Outstanding Power, effective immediately—at least digitally. Physical formats of their fifth album will be released on May 8, 2026.

Founded in 2016, LOVEBITES rocket-launched themselves to the top of the metal scene in their home country—including their debut at the legendary Budokan in Tokyo, coming in March of 2026. Additionally, they have made a name for themselves abroad, gaining recognition at Metal Hammer’s Golden Gods Awards and playing major stages across Europe, from Wacken and Hellfest to Download and Bloodstock. TABERNIS Reveal New Single And Video ‘Tenebrae’

Just having solidified their new partnership with Napalm Records, folk duo TABERNIS expands the invitation to their enigmatic ritual with new single “Tenebrae”. The first offering from their upcoming debut album, Seasons of the Dark Hive, unveiled April 24, 2026, is named after the Latin word for “darkness” and intertwines ancient tradition and dark mysticism in an array of moody instrumentals. Expanding their apiary with fifteen tracks, TABERNIS weave pervasive compositions in sacred tradition. Setting the mood as the first call to the eternal dance is “Sanctus”, a summoning of voices, a rhythmic reminder of the strength in many. Following, the duo offers an array of moody instrumentals, some buoyantly buzzing (“Tenebrae”, “Sylvanot”), some pensively droning (“Noctilis”)—all of them mesmerizing. With “Mel Obscurum (Palästinalied)”, TABERNIS devote themselves to one of the most famous surviving medieval songs. Their rendition of celebrated German poet Walther von der Vogelweide’s 13^th-century “Palestine Song” bestows a special historicism upon Seasons of the Dark Hive. “Hive Dance (Bransle du maître de la maison)” stands with similar history, originating from a late medieval French dance tune. The melodies, mainly conducted by only two instruments, are enriched by the subtle presence of a Dark Monk on strings and, on rare occasions, distorted whispers and the soothing humming of bustling bees, consistently conjuring a unique atmosphere. NERVE STAR to Release Astral DJ Edit of ‘Space Ritual’ Single on 13th March

NERVE STAR release their Astral DJ edit of new single ‘Space Ritual’, out on 13th March. This shorter length single is a stand alone track, with the full length version being available on their new album ‘White Hot‘, out on 27th February.

NERVE STAR are a hard rock/heavy metal band which took form in 2021, playing a blend of 70’s hard rock, 80’s heavy metal, NWOBHM and some punk thrown in the mix, with unrelenting riffs, big drums, thumping bass and loud guitars.

Throughout the year, the line up began to solidify with Joss Thorley from Manchester on Bass and Chris Billinghurst from Maidenhead on Lead Guitar and they settled on a band name ‘Nerve Star’. It wasn’t possible to rehearse together so some cool tracks were selected and sent out, with initially ten songs home demoed.

After a couple of changes as they sought to find the ideal line up, in 2023 they brought in a great singer from the South of England, Matt Oakman, and things instantly moved into another league. With Matt on board, they searched around for a second reliable and gifted rock/metal guitarist and drummer, contacting Janne Stark, who loved all the tracks. He had done it all as both a producer and guitarist in Metal, Prog and NWOBHM bands since the 1980’s and recorded and produced his own albums and was a perfect partner for Chris on guitar, they now had their own version of the dual leads of Thin Lizzy.

With all Janne’s experience and solidity, it meant that sessions were completed in days rather than months at his studios in Sweden and everything started to take off. Janne introduced the band to Peter, a band colleague and great drummer from Karlsham in Sweden, so when Peter ‘Trumpeter’ Svensson jumped on board, the line up was complete.

In Spring 2024, with demos of the 11 covers and 2 original tracks completed, they started full recording sessions with Janne and Peter in Sweden and Joss, Chris and Matt with Ras at Raw Studios in England. This continued through 2024/25 until all 13 tracks were completed.

For the final track on the album track that was recorded, one of their guitar heroes was asked if he would like to contribute. Tony Bourge, the heavy metal riff master from the 1970’s Welsh band ‘Budgie’ who was responsible for killer riffs on tracks such as Breadfan/Crash Course In Brain Surgery (covered by Metallica), In For The Kill (Van Halen) and many more. Tony had previously contributed on several Bandolier Kings albums with Janne and agreed to help on one of his own 80’s classic tracks ‘Richard III’, that he originally wrote and recorded with Welsh rockers ‘Tredegar’. Tony recorded all his guitar parts in Wales and sent them across. All three lead guitarists can be heard on this epic track, which is the closer on the upcoming album.

Some extra background to the nature of the songs on this album:

“Apart from the two instrumentals (Lone Orbit & Calm, Cool & Connected) that were written by our two guitarists to showcase their talents, these are covers. Most were developed during COVID lockdown down years and we deemed them just too good to discard after things opened up again. They were all selected from obscure sources and apart from three songs (Precious Rock, Black Ice & Richard III) had never been released commercially or in most cases never got past the local band/cassette demo stage. Even Black Ice was a one off nwobhm single released by a band who then folded and disappeared quickly after.

It took quite some time to track down the original band members, who were overjoyed and amazed that anyone had remembered them or knew about their demo songs, as they had all been discarded 20-30 years earlier. In fact the band Skreem who wrote ‘Winner Takes All’. (my favourite track) was so impressed with our version, that he went looking for other material and found a dusty old tape with ‘Say It To My Face’ on it, so this opened up another outlet. Songs that would never have seen the light of day or even YouTube!

There’s many others that we haven’t tried out yet as we concentrate on new material. That is why our first new song ‘Its The Time’ has just been recorded for our second album.”

WISHING WELL Release New Single + Video ‘Valley Of Darkness’ from Upcoming Album

Helsinki’s very own hard rocking quintet Wishing Well have today released a brand new “Valley Of Darkness” single off their new “Playing With Fire” album, out 13 March. The song is fast and furious opening track of the new album and a perfect example of classic Wishing Well sound featuring Hammond organ, melodic guitar solos and strong vocals with haunting lyrics. The song is released together with an effective black and white video, that greatly supports the song’s cinematic atmosphere. “Valley Of Darkness” was written by Anssi Korkiakoski, the guitarist of Wishing Well. The song and the album were recorded in Magnusborg studios in Porvoo by Marko Kataja. The music video was filmed and edited by Jussi Koskinen.
