5X Platinum-certified alternative rock mainstays THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS are excited to announce their signing to premiere independent music label Better Noise Music. Formed in 2004 in Jacksonville, FL, the band has accrued Gold and multi-Platinum singles—including their massive 5x Platinum hit single “Face Down” and “Your Guardian Angel”—and 2X Platinum-certified debut album, Don’t You Fake It, alongside numerous high-ranking radio chart positions and a robust digital history of 1.4 billion career streams.
BETTER NOISE MUSIC President / COO Steve Kline remarks on the band’s signing: “We’re excited to partner with The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus on their next release. The timing is perfect, allowing longtime fans to dive into new music while creating a platform for new listeners to discover the awesome songs from the band’s upcoming album.”
THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS—lead vocalist, guitarist and founding member Ronnie Winter, his multi-instrumentalist brother Randy Winter, guitarist Josh Burke, bassist Joey Westwood, drummer John Esp, and touring keyboardist Nadeem Salam, — have today released a new recording of their previously unreleased song “Home Improvement.” “Home Improvement” was one of the band’s “lost” tracks which were originally recorded prior to the sessions for their debut album but didn’t make the cut and have only existed as demos found on YouTube. These songs, along with new material, will be released on their new album due in Spring of 2025 via Better Noise Music.
Ronnie elaborates: “In 2004, as a local, unsigned band out of Jacksonville, Florida, we recorded a batch of demos that we posted on social media and passed around everywhere we could, later these were known to fans as our self-titled album. This led to our first major label signing in fall of 2005. We wasted little time getting into the studio to give these songs a fresh new recording and that became the basis for our now 2X Platinum-certified debut album ‘Don’t You Fake It.’ Some of these songs didn’t make the cut due to studio time, album length, and whatnot. Over the years with file trading and YouTube, these demos found their way across the internet and became fan favorites in their own right, and became known as ‘The Lost Songs.’ Fans traded and would beg us to release them, as they were never officially released on streaming platforms.”
“What’s old is new again,” Winters announces. “We have reteamed with many of those involved with ‘Don’t You Fake It’ for our upcoming album and we’re stoked to finally officially release a new recording of ‘Home Improvement’—a song about heartache and the ambivalence of love. It’s been one of the most requested of ‘The Lost Songs’ and will be released digitally for the first time-ever through our new record label, Better Noise Music. This isn’t nostalgia, this is right now, and there’s much more to come!”

Following the success of their recent tour in Finland, melodic death metal juggernauts WOLFHEART are excited to release a new music video, ‘The Gale,’ in support of their acclaimed album “Draconian Darkness,” released on September 6, 2024 via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM).
Though it serves as the album’s closing track, ‘The Gale’ masterfully combines moments of tranquillity with raw intensity. The song begins with soothing acoustic guitar, gradually transforming into a beautifully melodic waltz. Clean vocals evoke the calm within the storm, leading into a relentless journey, with WOLFHEART‘s signature piano melodies leaving fans enveloped in bittersweet emotions.
Guitarist and vocalist Tuomas Saukkonen shares: “The most beautiful and majestic song of the album is worthy of a music video which was filmed at the most stunning video location we’ve ever come across on our journey – at the breathtaking sceneries of Iceland!”
In addition to the new release, WOLFHEART are gearing up for an extensive 26-date European tour, kicking off on October 31 and running through November 30. Artwork by Nikos Stavridakis / VisionBlack
“Draconian Darkness” was recorded at Deep Noise Studios and produced, mixed and mastered by the band’s long-time collaborator Saku Moilanen; its artwork was crafted by Nikos Stavridakis (VisionBlack).
Originated by hardworking multi-instrumentalist Tuomas Saukkonen (BEFORE THE DAWN, BLACK SUN AEON etc.), WOLFHEART stand for a unique combination of sinister atmosphere and intense Northern European metal. Their music is based on sheer strength and poetic depth what generated much appreciation for their work within the worldwide metal community. While WOLFHEART‘s art is mainly inspired by their Finnish surrounding, their albums tell eclectic stories connecting nature and human feelings, and with each and every album, they’ve managed to extend their artistic horizon and to give even more utterance to their music.
The wait is over! Italian progressive post-rockers STRANIA have unleashed their stunning debut album “Acceptance” today, October 18th via Diotima Records! Furthermore, the band reveals the artwork and all the details of their first opus!
The band shared: “Acceptance” is taking inspiration from Giacomo Leopardi’s work, we’ve crafted songs that tell stories and describe scenarios which evoke a sense of desperation and beauty, concepts that coexist in the figure of Mother Nature, who is nothing short of a God who dominates man’s life and fate: in the end, the only thing we can do is not fight or fear her, but accept our part as pawns in nature’s bigger and mysterious picture. In order to convey these sensations through our music, we searched for sounds that were both refined and impactful, never neglecting the melodic and atmospheric side, spacing from powerful and epic choruses to more soft and airy verses or instrumental sections, always trying to match a specific mood or image, reinforcing the lyrics. Also, since we give great relevance to the instrumental aspect, we used different time signatures and dynamic ranges to add variety and keep things engaging.”
Earlier the band on the album: “Our first album, “Acceptance”, is a collection of songs composed between spring 2021 and early 2023 and revolves around the personification of nature and the conflictual relationship between mankind and nature herself, whose role constantly shifts from being a saviour and merciful mother to that of a cruel and destructive entity in the eyes of man. We recorded the instrumental parts of the album at “La Fucina Studio” between April and May of 2023. Not having an official singer during that period, the vocals were recorded between June and July of the same year by four local singers, each singing on one of the songs, thus giving every piece a certain feel thanks to their different styles and musical backgrounds. All the tracks were mixed and mastered at the same studio by the end of the summer. The hard work, patience and sacrifice that went into the composition (often troubled and complex) and the recording of this album are rewarded by our trust and love toward music as a whole, and we hope that “Acceptance” and our future works can reach and inspire as many people as possible.”
Album artwork was created by Alessandro Beccari.
“Acceptance” Tracklist:
The Tide’s Echo 7:22
It’s Meant To Be 6:40
Metempsychosis 4:21
Nothing Remains 7:38
Lost At Sea 10:34 Total length 36:35
Special Guests: Francesco Marino vocals on “It’s Meant To Be” Mattia Braghero vocals on “Metempsychosis” Leonardo Magi vocals on “Nothing Remains” Martina Barreca vocals on “Lost At Sea”
The band on ‘Metempsychosis’: “Metempsychosis is a song that tells the story of an old man who ventures into the woods to reunite with Mother Nature in his final moments, allowing her to take care of his body and soul. As he walks deeper into the forest, he feels observed by the surrounding trees, which are the reincarnations of those who, like him, sought final peace in that place.”
Further news on STRANIA’s activities will be revealed in the coming weeks!
More information:
STRANIA is an Italian progressive post-rock band, formed in the province of Florence by Andrea Borgioli, Mattia Nicolini and Giacomo Bracci in the summer of 2019. The band reached its current four-piece lineup in late summer 2022.
The members of the band have a very heterogeneous musical culture, but the meeting point between them is highlighted in the post-rock genre, which leaves a lot of expressive and compositional freedom to the group. In fact, all the songs are composed in a collective creative process in the rehearsal room, which can sometimes even last whole day sessions, taking care of the smallest detail.
Today, October 18th, From The Vault Announce the second STEEL INFERNO digital single and official video, titled “Attack,” from their upcoming album “Rush of Power”.
Paying homage to all that is speed, this offering deals and tell a tale of the infamous Speed Metal Attack. BOW TO THE HEIR!
Join the premiere here:
Steel Inferno has been, slowly but surely, cementing their name in the European speed metal scene in the last decade. Since the band’s formation in 2012, the quintet released three studio albums, each one stepping a bit forward in terms of popularity and intensity: “Aesthetics of Decay” in 2016, “…And the Earth Stood Still” in 2020 and “Evil Reign” In 2022.
The latter, which was Steel Inferno’s debut at From The Vaults, took the band in a slightly different direction. If the Steel Inferno’s early material was akin to European metal like early Accept and Judas Priest, the material in that record was closer to some of the earliest US power metal bands such as Helstar and Jag Panzer – all mixed with a fundamental inspiration from early thrash and speed metal.
With this new-found approach, the band toured like crazy to support “Evil Reign”, until the time came to record new songs again. Angioni Studios was booked, speed riffs, solos were recorded, thunderous rhythms were taped and raging vocal takes were taped. The result is Steel Inferno’s new album, titled “Rush Of Power”. A thunderous monster of a record, which will hit you like a hurricane, adrenaline-pumping and will leaving craving for the next speed metal fix. “Rush Of Power” adds more speed, as well as complexity, to the Steel Inferno arsenal, while retaining a sense of creating good melodies.
Are you ready for “Rush Of Power”?
“Rush Of Power” will be released on CD, LP (black and white vinyl versions available, each limited to 200 copies, plus red vinyl exclusive to Mephisto shop, limited to 100 copies) and digital on November 29th, 2024 via From The Vaults.
Lineup: Thierry Zubritovsky – bass Krzysztof Baran – drums Lars Lyndorff Krelskov – guitars Jens Andersen – guitars Chris Rostoff – vocals
